Grodenchik wins primary

Surprising absolutely no one, Democratic voters in the 23rd Council District, when given a choice between 6 candidates, chose the Queens County Democratic Machine hack. Bob Friedrich ran a close second.

Why did I assume lynch would win

We have to break this sickening cycle of recycling politicians . Barry is a do-nothing and just follows the orders of the Dem machine. Bob lost by only 300 votes. The people of Queens have lost again.

And all of those cock sure that Bob Was going to win had better take a good dose of reality.

#1.
The Dem clubhouse runs Queens.

#2.
There is no hope as long as voters remain dumb to what goes on behind the scenes.

#3.
Unless a miracle happens, the district is fucked!

Second place is second place.
Only the winner of the college football game , "....gets to f--k the prom Queen..."
as Sean Connery said in one of his films.

Too many false hopes in Queens.
Too many stupid voters.
So shall ye sow. So shall ye reap.

Barry is the perfect clubhouse puppet.
Smile, kiss his Clarabelle the clown hairdo, and things will be just fine!

Had Najmi or Lynch won, this district would have been subject to far-left policies of our mayor. Compared to them, Barry is a safe moderate.

Just more of the good ole boys club and the typical status quo that had poisoned our political system. How did I know that Melinda Katz's boy was going to win.

Just expect more of the same crap backed by the Democratic machine to keep the same people in power, but then people are dumb and keep putting these same types of folks in to begin with, if they even come out to vote. Voter turnout in Queens is just awful.

People are too stupid to realize that you can weld power, that is if you even give a shit.

Hell, a write in vote can win if enough people went out and wrote a person's name when candidates run unopposed.

But then I am expecting too much from sheeple and brain-dead sheeple at that.

He does have a Republican challenger in the General Election - LOL!

Barry is a dull and boring hack. He'll continue to be the Queens' machine puppet while in office. Another loss for the good guys, I hope Bob Friedrich primaries Barry Grodenshit during the next council election, one on one.

I heard a Ali Najmi supporter complaining about the scheduling of the primary. It was held on a Thursday because next Tuesday is a Jewish holiday and he thought this was pandering to the Jews.
He also thought holding it on the eve of 9/11 was anti Islamic being Najmi is Muslim.

No matter what, Najmi was a loser. An endorsement from The NY Times meant nothing to Queens people and we already saw what happened when a community organizer with an Islamic bent went into politics.

No surprise here, there is no democracy in the Stalinist Republic of Queens County

Stop it people! One person running against the organization - even if they won - can to little.

Social media will be the death knell of bossism. Soon both the Greatest Generation (who goes to the polls thinking 'Roosevelt' and 'Kennedy' every time they see 'Democrat' and the Silent Generation (which were losers from the word go, which is why they never won the office of President) - will be gone.

All we need to do is to work tirelessly at exposing the stupidity and venality of Honest Joe Crowely. Remember what another politician once said, you say something over and over again and people will begin to believe you.

Decade or two of stuff like Crappy and the brittle party will shatter into little pieces.

Take a look at Barry. The poster child of the Queens elite.

Anywhere else he would be the collector of taxes.

When people think of Queens this is what comes to mind - along with Archie Bunker.

Proud people that you fell into the outside world's caricature of us?

"One person running against the organization - even if they won - can to little."

We recently had one person run against the organization and win.
A guy named Tony Avella.

Good luck to Joe Concannon in the Fall!

Bob, please run as an Independent candidate. Give district 23 voters another chance.
We need change and Barry is not the guy to do it.

Joe is looking better now but Bob should have won. Were all F--ked.

We have crap running our borough into the ground. All for political power. To hell with the constituents. I think it's time for a revolution! What does everyone think?

Bob Friedrich, the wannabe losing as usual. Now his record is 0-5 losing to all elections.
Time to think of Florida.

Another career politician doing nothing beneficial for taxpayers.

The slow road or the highway to HELL.
Either way, we are going to hell!

We will be Detroit!

You must start somewhere. Start with someone articulate and engaging, that can shed some light on this corrupt machine

Lynch will move back to Manhattan and return to her job as deblasio political hack. Wouldn't be surprise she rides on a horse drawn carriage back to Manhattan. Good riddance

The value of newspaper endorsement: Queens Tribune endorsed Friedrich, Daily News endorsed lynch, NY Times endorsed Najmi.

Thanks for trying Bob. You only lost by 300 votes. You put up a good fight and 23% of the district feel the same way. If the other 77% listened to your message or cared maybe we could have won.
Thanks for trying Bob.

Who do you think voted for this guy? Just taking a look at him you think he is a consumer for a program that deals with people that are developmentally disabled.

"Bob Friedrich, the wannabe losing as usual. Now his record is 0-5 losing to all elections."

The guy who wrote this BS above is either a hack himself, a Joe Crowley asswipe or most likely, BOTH.

Bob Friedrich has the courage to stand up against the machine. The fact that he continues to try is a testament to him. Bob refuses to give up, that should be celebrated! Thankfully, Bob will continue to fight. Anyone who knocks Bob Friedrich for losing by less than 300 votes to the corrupt Queens machine should look in the mirror and finally see exactly what's wrong with Queens County.

Thanks for trying Bob.

Too bad Tony Avella backstabbed you to endorse one of his biggest donors, a guy who was the most unqualified candidate in the race by far. If you saw him on NY1 you couldn't even understand what he was saying.

Good old Tony Avella.

before you vote for Grodenchik.....check this out.

Grodenchik supported Melinda Katz' decision to remove Community Board members who opposed homeless shelters in their respective areas. You'd better think twice before you vote for this guy. He's not going to stand up to his political bosses when the City decides to put these "social" programs into your neighborhood
