The Council and our environment

The New York League of Conservation Voters recently released their scorecard showing how individual council members voted on green legislation. The full report may be viewed here: NYC Council Environmental Scorecard.

The chart below shows how Queens councilmembers voted on specific legislation and their individual grades:
If the council continues to sit on their hands and promote the pollution of our environment as well as encourage overdevelopment, we won't have a livable city for much longer.

Look which douche-bag has the lowest 2-year average. What a shocker!!

It's not easy being green, especially when you're pink.

I'll bet Pinky's "green rating" (campaign contributions from developers) is quite high....probably #2 after Melinda Katz's #1!

I hear his "brown rating" is the highest of any council member.
