Kitschy Katz

The Forest Hills Times must have known that the Crapper was about to post "Scoop from the Katz litterbox" today. Because they provided this nice companion piece:

Profile: New York City Zoning & Land Use Committee and its Chair Melinda Katz

She came up with some real knee-slappers for this article:

“...the City Council has worked to make sure that the communities we care so much about are protected and remain the great, quality neighborhoods for people to want to live and stay in our great city.”

Under Katz’s leadership, the committee also affirmed the designation of two dozen new landmarks, including the Triangle Shirt Waist Factory building, Ralph Bunche House, Loew’s Paradise Theater, Estey Piano Company, Astoria Park Pool, Fire Engine Company No. 258, Richmond Hill Republican Club, Newtown High School, and the Williamsburg Houses.

While her reputation as a tenacious defender of her district grows, her respect in political circles citywide expands as well, and Katz is sure to play a vital role as New York moves ahead in the 21st Century.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Don't worry, I'll push Crappy off the bowl so you can upchuck into it.

I'm not from Forest Hills and haven't read this paper, but I'm assuming its another litter boxliner like the Tribune that only tells one side of the story.

What a suck-ass article on Melinda Katz written by some no-talent reporter from the piece-o-crap Forest Hills Times. Notice no byline meaning nobody wanted to take credit for writing such garbage. Katz, who seems to be getting scuzzier by the minute, has taken much more money from developers than any other council person.

Instead of promoting corrupt and incompetent sell-out politicians, that paper should be writing on ways to improve the neighborhoods. They should keep the politicians on their toes instead of stroking them to get their holiday ads for which the Queens Ledger is noted.

Hey QC, where did you find that photo? Uggggh! She's a man, baby!

What the hell has this woman done for us here in Forest Hills anyway?

I voted for her because there was no other choice.

Now I know I would have been better off voting for some other member of the White Trash Association than Melinda.

Doesn't this paper have any self respect?

Don't they want to be taken seriously?

Or did someone do arm twisting so the writer sandbagged it to make it resemble a press release from a place with a political envirnment like North Korea?

Don't they understand that no one takes this seriously?

Germans have a great expression:

"Das ist fur die Katz,"

which means roughly

"That is for the birds."

If Borat meets the city council, what would it be like?

Spokesperson for Katz: “the City Council has worked to make sure that the communities we care so much about are protected and remain the great, quality neighborhoods for people to want to live and stay in our great city.”

Borat replys: As well, please, I hope you appreciate freedom to stand and to criticize, uh, superior people and the council. In Kazakhstan for many year was impossible. Uh, under communism and under Soviet Union impossible to make a criticism and it is a great admiration that you are allowed to speak how you feel and how you think. For many year I have always read Thomas Jefferson Declaration of Independence. When I read this first time I almost cry. It mean so much the idea of to be free. To be equal, to be one people. Uh, we in Kazakhstan must learn that we must not be scared of a difference, and because somebody make a say they is a problem, it does not mean that you must, uh, not allow them to speak.

Spokesperson for Katz: Under Katz’s leadership, the committee also affirmed the designation of two dozen new landmarks, including the Triangle Shirt Waist Factory building, Ralph Bunche House, Loew’s Paradise Theater, Estey Piano Company, Astoria Park Pool, Fire Engine Company No. 258, Richmond Hill Republican Club, Newtown High School, and the Williamsburg Houses.

Borat replys: Queens is beautiful country, much better than Kazakhstan. Not everyone have a horse yet but most people have donkey

Spokesperson for Katz: While her reputation as a tenacious defender of her district grows, her respect in political circles citywide expands as well, and Katz is sure to play a vital role as New York moves ahead in the 21st Century.

Borat replys: It is also very interest to hear how you solve a problem here before it become serious. We know in Kazakhstan that if you ignore a problem people every day become more, more angry. Eventually you have revolution. This way very intelligent to let people cure problem before problem become very, um, very big a problem. .

Senorita C.M. Katz.... esta la grande putta!

I don't know much Spanish....but doesn't that last poster indicate that C.M. Katz is a "big whore" for the building interests of NYC?

Where did this newspaper writer get their training? Writing about wheat harvests in the Soviet Union back in the 50's?

Anonymous said...

That is funny. The reporter never got beyond writing Valentine cards to his parents in second grade.

Anonymous said...

Maybe they tapped into a second grader to write that drivel.

How in the hell does a newspaper expect themselves to be taken seriously after publishing that?

I wouldn't expose my butt to even use that "newspaper" as an ass wipe.....not with all those political ads and developers' "puff pieces" running in them .

After all, would you turn your back on a politician or a builder? Not me!

I especially enjoy reading about Katz' support for landmarking the Republican Club. How about the rest of Richmond Hill?

She is a puppet of Frank Bahar and other developers.

It looks like Katz wrote the article herself and submitted it to the paper who printed it verbatim. That's how they do business at the Forest Hills Times.
