Gang members charged in gun & drug sales

From the Queens Courier:

Eight purported street gang members from Queens have been charged after peddling guns and drugs during undercover buys, prosecutors announced.

“Illegal firearms that flood our streets pose a serious and deadly threat to public safety and the distribution of illegal drugs is a plague on our society. For those arrested, the message could not be clearer: law enforcement has no tolerance for those involved in the weapons and drug trade,” District Attorney Richard Brown said in a statement Tuesday.

According to prosecutors, seven of those arrested were alleged members of the Trinitarios, “a violent New York-based Dominican street gang,” and the eighth defendant is a reputed member of MS-13, another “violent street gang primarily composed of Central Americans.”

The buys, which took place in Queens between November 2012 and June 2014, included a total of 14 guns, with ammunition in some cases, and cocaine, MDPV and marijuana, according to the district attorney’s office. During that time, the members were unknowingly selling to NYPD operatives.

See press release for details on perps. Glendale seems to be a dirtbag magnet lately.

Only Erik Holder and the DOJ can sell illegal guns,
If you want to sell guns run for elected office first

Vibrant and divererse gangs. Come visit Queens.

Remember
You have NO right to police protection!
SCOTUS stated in Warren v DC.
Read the case!

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_v._District_of_Columbia

As they say, the job of the police is to take reports, investigate, prosecute and incarcerate the bad guys. Also maintain "general" peace and tranquility. When TSHTF you are on your own. Good luck...
So if you are smart, get training, get a license, get guns and know how to use them!
Can't happen here? Remember Crown Heights?
Look at Ferguson, Baltimoe, LA

Dominicans and Central Americans - Doing the jobs White Americans are no longer willing to do!

Vibrant! Diverse!

When asshole Queens Borough Melinda Katz and her crony pals talk about Queens being “vibrant & diverse” is this what she is talking about. You do know we have our own home grown gangs here, we do not need to import new ones from across the globe.

Stick this in your Queens, The World’s Borough brochure. Should be a tourist highlight.

Don't worry, these wonderful bunch of diverse immigrants will plead the 15 years down to a misdemeanor for time served. they might even be out on no bail & on their own recognisance.
They may even get themselves an asylum green card for all their troubles.
The press WILL NOT follow up that story!
I am sure they will be happy to peddle their wares in the new day laborer center to open in Queens! better chances of finding more reliable customers there.
And Plaxico Burress got three years hard time - was he a threat to our society? - NO!!!
Yet no one talks about the revolving door of criminals.
All the politicians say is we need new laws and regulations.
This is just to justify the pols miserable existence.

As burro prez Katz proclaims.."Queens, the world's borough".
"...the wretched refuse from your teeming shores....
Send all your crap to Queens...the city's dumbest borough...because it has the dumbest voters.

If I'm a cop in a sanctuary city and this kind of stuff happens, I wonder why bother about doing my job.
My management (mayor) doesn't care, so why should I.
Why should I risk my life.

City Council (where the mayor came from) is at fault here: it does not matter what these people do, they make great photo ops (and donations from the home countries to off-shore bank accounts) and they do not question authority.

If I was a NYC politician I would do everything possible to have the non-immigrants leave .... wait, that is their policy.

I remember seeing a small lawn sign in my nabe about 40 years ago.....the kind burglar companies post.
"Protected by .357". Was that a good idea? Maybe not, but with poor police response these days, there might eventually be no better option.

Keep on overbuilding without regard for delivering essential emergency services.
Cut the police force. Close hospitals and firehouses. Let the schools deteriorate. Overload our public transportation.

Your elected officials and community boards are responsible for all this.
Pol's get most of their money from developers. Pol's make sure that they live in the best neighborhoods. They don't give a crap beyond keeping their jobs and doing as little as possible. At the end of the game they all get their pensions.
What do we get as taxpayers...an increase in taxes?

And , as we all well know, police hate paperwork.
They prefer more physical work like beating up on a suspected perp with a silver Three Musketeers candy bar.
"Uh...duh....it looked like he was pulling a gun".
Dumber than some of these cops are the citizens who allow this kind of police violence.

The anonymous poster above is your typical liberal asswipe cop hater with a keyboard in mommy's basement with the faded Obama poster hanging on the wall who's unemployed hoping Bernie Sanders gets elected so he can stop hiding from collection agency's seeking payment for his college loan because Bernie is going to make college FREE.🐒

You can blame the politicians, but remember the community boards are a relatively useless "advisory" board appointed by the council members. The community boards' purpose is to provide a "feeling" of community involvement and a scapegoat. If the Community board members are not voting lockstep with the council member's addenda, they are gone.
Regardless, the powers that be do whatever they want, no matter what the community or community board wants or says.

Dumb liberal...eh?
When cops are required to live withinn NYC limits and are required to go on the pistol range more than three times a year...maybe they can learn to shoot straight instead of Glocking around the clock...discharging sixteen rounds ....some of which might hit bystanders.
Give 'em back their old six guns. Revolvers do not jam, like Glocks are known to do, and police will be more cautious of the bullets flying.
The real technique used by NYC cops (most live in Nassau county BTW) with semi auto handguns...is spray and pray you hit something.

I think criminals should be punished or stopped at the scene, with force if needed.
I do not like the atmosphere of fear among cops that might cause them to "jump the gun" on a situation.
Why are not NYC cops issued non lethal tasers like the state troopers are carrying in Penn Station, along with their service weapons?

There are asshole ultra liberals and snot wad reactionary conservatives on opposite sides of each coin.
It is the moderates that can keep a clear head and apply effective solutions to any problem.

Regarding the commenter who mentioned the Warren v. District of Columbia case, that was not a Supreme Court decision, it was a DC appeals court. Does anyone know of any similar cases which were decided by higher courts?

Dumb liberal..eh? Really cops should live in the city well the guy who lives next door to me is a retired cop and his family was attacked by 3 vicious CRIMINALS and when they were caught it turns out one of them was arrested by him 10'years earlier and recognized him and followed him and his family home from a shopping trip, lucky no one was killed,
Just admit your a loser, probably did time and just hate police
Let me repeat YOUR A LOSER.

Everyone hates the police until something affects them, then they point the finger and demand services, crime and thugs are permitted to grow under the current regime, while law enforcement is stymied, The mayor gives away the store so no one has to work, the rich are protected by tax abatements and other loopholes, while the middle class get priced out with higher taxes across the board and not able to play games with their income. Once everyone who actually works for a living gets pushed out, then who will support all the much abused social programs? The hipsters on their playcations sponsored by mommy and daddy in MonOhigan? Good luck. Fuck this place.

the DC court is equivalent to a state supreme court.
This case having no opposing case law stands.

Although not mentioned specifically in the opinions, this case was reaffirmed in Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005)

It is a SCOTUS case in which the Court ruled, 7–2, that a town and its police department could not be sued under 42 U.S.C. §1983 for failing to enforce a restraining order, which had led to the murder of a woman's three children by her estranged husband.

Thank you for looking at this!
