Councilman sets up shop in a piece of Queens Crap

Hey remember this Whitestone POS from a post 2 years ago? Well it's not quite finished yet, but Council Member Dan Halloran has opened his district office here. And if you think the outside exemplifies ugliness, the inside is even worse... Turns out he put a Dennis Gallagher confidante on his payroll despite multiple warnings from people begging him not to. And over in Flushing, Peter Koo is paying Gallagher for advice! Looks like the Queens GOP really wants to self-destruct.

(Bye, Frank.)

Another Padavan phony. Just like Frank. You think they are gonna do the right thing. Now he is working with the rapist and his network of drunks, crooks and perverts. Great.

Know what I love about Crap in Queens? When people buy a $500,000 luxury condo, and put up bed sheets as curtains.

I can't for the life of me figure out why the GOP would keep an albatross like Dennis Gallagher around their necks. He must know an awful lot of dirt about them.

That house is out of character and dwarfs the one on the left! What were they thinking?

By the way LuchAAA, using bed sheets as curtains is the style now. It looks very elegant and its so chic! LOL

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Somehow I'm not shocked.

Look at the beautiful Tudor style home next to this HORROR! I cannot believe the building department allowed this to happen. They are destroying our beautiful nabs.

Who was the builder - anyone know?

Halloran even hired a coke addict!

Would you guys been happier if non-district resident Kim had won?

NO I think the best candidate won. But he seems to be going off the right track.

Keep an eye on all the overdevelopment and zoning changes that Halloran is going to pass based on recomendations by his Pedrone, Mr. Padavan.

Why do all the right minded people buy Padavans bullshit when he has been in charge of Northeast queens for 40 years and looked the other way when the neighborhoods got destroyed.

Who let the Korean churches in: Frank Padavan.

Who destroyed the one and two family homes in Whitestone and bayside: Frank Padavan.

Who was in charge when McMansions took over the neighborhood: Frank Padavan.

Enough already: Throw the bum out.

who was in the city council while all this happened?

Yeah, zoning issues are local issues, not state issues.

Avella was in there but got some of the earliest downzoning of any neighborhood.

If you want to blame someone, blame Bloomberg.

In addition to all this, Halloran has stopped updating his Facebook page too with all that he is doing.

I thought it was a very innovative way in the beginning to stay in touch with constituents.

I am afraid he will just let me down in the end.

works for me!

those were local not STATE issue which Padavan had NOTHING to do. Blame Quinn, Bloomberg and Melinda Katz. good riddance Katz. Now lets hope Quinn is gone in 3 years for GOOD!

"those were local not STATE issue which Padavan had NOTHING to do."

Does Padavan tell that to people when they call his office for help? Seems like a weasily thing to do since the State can always pass laws that supersede City law.
