Rego Park rape

From WPIX:

The NYPD released surveillance video of man they say brutally raped 52-year-old woman in Rego Park Friday.

The victim was caught on camera in the Rite Aid on 63rd Drive and Queens Blvd just moments before the heinous crime. Police say the suspect, who identified himself as “Junior” to the woman, approached the victim as she exited the Rego Park Subway station and asked her for her name and phone number. She refused and ducked into the Rite Aid, where he followed her in and began harassing her but then left. That is where he was caught by surveillance.

Police say the suspect then waited outside the store and followed the woman to an apartment building on Saunders Street, pushed her down a small flight of stairs and raped her.

A police spokesperson said that in accordance with the recent federal ruling, nobody's civil rights were violated by an illegal stop and frisk while searching for "Junior". Furthermore, the spokesperson stated that in accordance with recent city council guildelines to prevent profiling, they are looking for, "a person". Sleep tight, residents of Rego Park.

Doesn't matter what the description of the perp is, we can see he is black in the video. That's easy....but I want to be able to see the animals face and can't with this blurry image.

Who cares about how he is described??? The video makes it clear he is black.... But does nothing to reveal his ugly mug!!

Merde!

This is the type of perp that we lock up in the casier de viande - what you Americans refer to as the meat locker.

We also send Grand Jacques ("Big Jack" to you Americans) to the meat locker to tenderize the meat, if you know what I mean.....

Anyways......

ROUND UP THE USUAL SUSPECTS!!!

NYPD is just hours away from catching this savage. Trust me.

Rego Park buildings need to make sure they have adequate security and surveillance measures in place to help protect residents. This is the second time in recent memory there has been a rape in the area and as with any other part of the city we should not be too lax or too comfortable thinking it can't or doesn't happen here too.

Be alert, aware and for gods sake if you are being threatened or accosted call the police or stay in a place where there are other people.
