Now there are helicopters also making noise

From WPIX:

The FAA changed the flight path around LaGuardia last summer.

Neighbors have been trying to get the agency to reconsider the decision.

Now, they are noticing increased helicopter traffic.

For Whitestone, I can say the helicopters are a lot worse than the planes. Yesterday, I heard 5 go over my house on 152nd Street within 3 minutes. Most of these copters and seaplanes are shuttling rich people to the Hamptons or Greenwhich from Manhattan(check flightaware.com) -- We will never get this addressed

Every day of the year for decades we have had low flying commuter helicipters ovr Ricmond Hill. Some make the house shake.

I live in Whitestone also and I like it here but its sad how this is news worthy. Its embaressing. If your house is shaking that does suck I agree with you but that's not happening here yet I've seen flyers around the neighborhood about this, articles like this on the web, and videos on YouTube. All you have to do is type in Whitestone Queens and this is what were known for at the moment. Middle class people and up who live in a nice neighborhood complaining about this.

I live in Queens Village and notice heavy traffic of helicopters from as early as 4am into the late nights. The traffic seems to be from the Manhattan and Long Island directions. What's really going on?
