Pot, meet kettle

From Capital New York:

It's a response to a mailer Vallone sent out earlier, portraying himself as a superhero. Here, he's a right-wing supervillain.

The job of borough president has largely been relegated to monitoring land use issues and allocating capital funds for infrastructure projects. Since there isn't much to separate the two Democrats in this race in terms of their respective records in these areas, the election will come down to name recognition and, beyond that, whatever the voters know about the candidates and their values.

Katz has attacked in the past Vallone for seeking the support of the Conservative Party, which opposes abortion rights and stricter gun control measures.

This, coming from someone who is so enamored with conservative radio host Curtis Sliwa that she is not only shacking up with him, but birthed 2 of his children while he was married to someone else...

Good to hear that Pete Vallone stands up for the rights of the unborn, while Katz stands for nothing.

For all that are complaining about Katz & Vallone (which both would be really bad in the Queens Borough President position) you can always vote for the other candidate Everly Brown, who I was not at all impressed when I attended a candidate forum and for the Democrats out there, come November you can vote for the Republican candidate Tony Arcabascio, who actually impressed me at the debates. These are some choices beside not voting at all.

Look...it's the big "C"...the big crook!

I'll never vote for Avella for anything, ever again!

This coward left Queens open to be violated by the Vallones!

I want you to refund my campaign donation, Tony!

I guess I didn't want to believe the public opinion that Tony is really a phony!

Thanks Joe, but I'd rather not vote at all.

I might as well vote for Peter Vallone Jr. for boro prez.

It'll do good for my nabe that he'll protect where his own brother Paul lives....only 4 blocks from me.

Hey, at one point, you've got to be practical.

Everybody seems impressive at debates, Joe.
They're dressed to the nines and wearing their best words.

That's where candidates promise you what you want to hear."I'll deliver the whole wide world to you".

After he's elected:
"I'm sorry, you'll have to settle for the shaft.
It's the best I can do this term".

Tony Arcabascio is Vallone Republican Lite.

I just find it so funny that a lapdog press in Astoria and Queens is so responsible for Peter Vallone Public Safety Crime Fighter.

The reality in the nabe is the guy is joke - a local kid who has a big daddy but never grew up.

Everyone still snickers how he used to get into trouble in Astoria Park -- and daddy bailed him out.

And how daddy put together a string of local developement deals with his poker buddies -- while sonny gets to stand on the steps of City Hall with the local clueless holding up 'Astoria Saved' signs

And everyone's favorite, how junior went into hiding while is block was one of the few that got new wiring and remained lit in Astoria's blackout a few years back -- while the rest of the community went dark cause it was starved to sustain the effort to rewire the waterfront for development -- then emerged as a true civic leader in Public Safety to attack Con Ed workers who were fighting fires in asbestos suits inside manholes in 98 degree heat.

Of course he is not above stealing someone else's ideas and cutting their funding (Queensboro vs Koch Bridge), leading the attack on looking up women's skirts (crimefighter!!) and pride in becoming an honorary member of the 1910 Fruit Gum Company(there is the adorable boyishness coming out in him).

He IS our bandanna wearing, gi-tar playing, Harley ridin' councilman.

As bad as Katz is (and believe me, her personal life will make our borough a laughing stock for a long time), I would not wish this punk on anyone.

You out there had better have a serious talk with your neighbors who have Vallone signs in their front lawn. Suggest they go to Astoria. You still see more aging Dukakus signs than Vallone signs.

That should tell you something.

He is mean, malicious, does not look you in the eye, and his body language to his constituents does not disguise that he would rather be anywhere then in front of them.

REALLY? NEWS TO US!!!

The Vallone's position on abortion may be one of the reasons that they are not so involved like they used to be.

So? In 1984 Jimmy Meng ran as a Conservative as well!

Oh what's a little shacking up! She's just trying to keep up with her male counterparts in the democratic party. They constantly get caught with their zippers down, or running porno on the internet. Right?

Well, hell, Vallone is divorced.

So much for the family man....

You can still vote for Avella - he is still on the Ballot. Think of it as the same as a write in ballot. If every one did this I believe he could still would be elected.

Yep, it says that right in the story:

So name recognition such as if I say Peter Vallone, Peter Vallone, Peter Vallone, assures Peter Vallone a win. Aw cmon. Censor me please crappy.

I may not accomplish anything by voting for Tony Avella but will sleep better and be able to look at myself in the mirror.

Divorce? See THIS!

Katz wins big!

Game, set, match.
Now it's time for a nice cold beer.

The New York Times just endorsed Melinda...and she's got spunk....even as a woman.

Junior Pete is a spunk-less wimp.
He can't even play the guitar good.

Queens voters rarely see eye to eye with NYT endorsements.

Notice how quickly they got the explosive divorce video pulled afer the post here?

Vallone sucks. He conspired with Pistilli to turn the old Stern's warehouse into another stucco palace despite community wishes for a much needed supermarket with union employees and wages.

Vallone sucks. He conspired with his pal Pistilli to convert the old Stern's warehouse into another stucco palace when the community needed and wanted a supermarket that would provide union jobs and wages. A vote for Vallone is a vote for Pistilli.

I hope Vallone loses big on Tuesday.
