Located on 41st Street just down the hill from the Steinway mansion, the [Modern Art] Foundry offers tours of its historic sites to art schools, public schools and individual artists. Visitors can see the ins and outs of how the fine-art casting facility works and the original horse stables of Steinway and Sons Company, which became part of the foundry's site.

Actually it was the stable for the Steinway family.
Does anyone remember "Roman Bronze Works" located in the former Tiffany Studios building (which still stands) in Corona ?
This was another prominent art casting facility, which closed some years back.
