The Queens Democrat has launched a campaign Web site,, and held a $1,000-a-head fund-raiser Monday night.

Katz's web site logo should be a worm crawling out of a rotten Big Apple !

H-m-m-m.....first the NYC real estate/building industry controls she's looking to control NYC's pocketbook !

This can only happen in a "democracy" or is it demon-ocracy !!!

But what a success story in the truly American tradition (if she gets elected comptroller) from courtesan to madam of a real estate CAT HOUSE.....her own KATZ to speak !

What a pair she's got....even as a woman !!!

Typical Queens politician.

A friendly press that copies their press releases, above any criticism as their communities rot around them, eyes on the higher prise.

Melinda Katz's Curriculum Vitae

To become the 43rd Comptroller of New York City and execute an old and phony vision for the greatest city in the world.

2002 - Current New York City Council New York, NY

City Councilwoman

Chair, Land Use Committee

» Responsible for taking money from developers not to do rezoning, hand out special permits, kickback school sitings, no landmarking and no authoring resolutions for the franchise of the City.

» Acted on nearly 1,200 land use applications for special interests since 2002.

» Approved up zoning and delayed downzoning all over the City including the areas of Forest Hills / Rego Park, Middle Village / Glendale, Kew Gardens / Richmond Hill, Bellrose, Far Rockaway / Mott Haven, Cambria Heights, Kissena Park, City Island, Bay Ridge, Sheepshead Bay, Bensonhurst, Hollis Wood and numerous areas.

» Made crap housing a priority.

Member, Education, Public Safety, Standards and Ethics and Rules, Privileges and Elections Committees and did nothing on all.

Appointed by Speaker of the City Council to the Budget negotiations team, which is charged with working with the administration to balance the city's $59 billion budget and establishing spending priorities. Did nothing on this either except claimed to be invloved.

Poorly and dishonestly represents 29th City Council District which covers Forest Hills, Rego Park, Kew Gardens and parts of both South Elmhurst and Richmond Hills (I put an s or $ on a lot of things).

1999 - 2002 Queens Borough President Kew Gardens, NY

Director of Community Boards

After losing the congressional election to a weiner, worked as a liaison for the community to the Borough President's Office and did absolutely nothing. Couldn't make it in the real world so took a nothing job.

Not involved with New York City's budget, zoning and land use matters, municipal service delivery, and any other major issues that were important to the public.

In return for campaign contributions, assisted the Borough President in proposing sites for city facilities and creating a strategic plan for the over- development of Queens.
