The Queens Gazette published an "article" about how their "columnist" John Ciafone, was featured recently in New York Magazine. Both links look like ads to me and not editorial. But whatever. Here are some shots of his new digs in a building renovated by Broadway Stages last year.
Before - 2nd floor office above check cashing biz (above) and now in his luxurious first floor suite - of course with ample signage (below)
That's a great use of discarded campaign posters!

The leadership in Astoria is certainly a piece of work.
LOL!
John Gavone!
A reporter? Hell, no!
And the Gazette ain't exactly the New York Times.
There are only followers in Astoria....sheep who follow any sheperd that leads them to become lamb chops.
personally the Gazette leaves alot to be desired --
The Gazette could be a really attractive paper if Barsamian the publisher had better graphics and stopped kissing the asses of the politicians by putting their dumb mugs all over the rag. How come Barsamian always runs lame cover photos?

Cause the old Greek ladies on Ditmars don't know how to read and the hipster kids don't know how to think.
Both groups actually think that Astoria is one of the finest governed communities in the city.
The Gazette is free and we all know you get what you pay for.
Why ruin the classy look of the bottom sign with that shitty poster? What an ass hat!!!
The man probably needs help tying his shoes in the morning and now he is a "columnist". Amazing what wifey's money can do.
