Like rats fleeing a sinking ship

From DNA Info:

Within a week of Mayor Bill de Blasio's administration announcing record-breaking achievements in affordable housing, the top two officials responsible for his housing initiatives are stepping down.

Department of City Planning Director and City Planning Commission Chair Carl Weisbrod is stepping down to chair the Trust for Governors Island, and Department of Housing Preservation and Development Commissioner Vicki Been will return to her previous job teaching at New York University and directing NYU's Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy.

Weisbrod will be replaced by Marisa Lago, currently the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Assistant Secretary for International Markets and Development.

Been will be replaced by Economic Development Corporation president and CEO Maria Torres-Springer, de Blasio announced Tuesday.

James Patchett, chief of staff to Deputy Mayor Alicia Glen, will succeed Torres-Springer at EDC, an agency which Glen oversees.

Fascinating, with the exception of the fixer Alicia Glen, surely soon to take the stand soon, the makers of the favored zoning, fabricated affordable housing conspiracy of the Gentrification Industrial Complex are heading for the private sector so soon, right after touting a slight growth of housing built or preserved for some citizens. I guess their damage, I mean their work is done here. Thanks to these fiends, it has influenced scumlords, individuals and unknowns in LLC's to use demonic tactics like sabotaging their buildings and properties and harass poorer and older tenants from their homes to get rents to market rate.

Interesting related tidbit, some of De Faustio's donors are former staffers, maybe these 2 rabies infested rats can bundle campaign cash while they're outside.

Where is the affordable housing when you have so many homeless living in neighborhood hotels?? Is that what you call affordable housing??
Rats only flee when there is trouble.

And, this purported investigation is taking FOREVER, as the questionable powers that be continue to stall for more time--exactly like how two other voracious criminals of the state, Sheldon Silver and Dean Skelos STILL haven't seen a day behind bars while out on appeal (why aren't they locked up like all other criminals awaiting appeal?)!

And, does anyone wonder anymore why the fed up and disgusted taxpayer no longer has any faith in a crooked-and-corrupt system that keeps betraying all pretense of public trust, ethics, integrity, accountability and transparency?

The system is rigged to fail by the OPENLY PRACTICING criminals from WITHIN! I correctly call them: 'CRIMES WITHOUT CRIMINALS'--and, it's only getting worse by the hour!
