Why water rates are going up

"The person using the hydrant to water his lawn and clean the sidewalk is a city employee. On top of this he works for the city DOT in the sign shop.

(Notice free city sign nailed on the city trees saying to keep dogs off his property.)

This property is located on 64th Street in Maspeth as you make the quick turn onto 63rd by the piece of crap you showcased. In the pics you can see the hydrant connected and then all his nice clean sidewalk compliments of us the taxpayers." - anonymous

guess he figures the city owes him something so he can steal water, use the city shops as his personal workshop, he must have something againt the mayor the parks dept and nature by nailing the sihns into the tree guess when u work for the city u are above the common people who have to pay for our services somebody should notify the doi about this creep.

if somebody's house goes on fire while he's using the hydrant, to water his lawn, property and lives may be lost.

Hey, the guy is a self entitled moron, no doubt, but property and lives aren't going to be lost if selfish boy is watering his lawn. The FDNY would have the hoses hooked up without delay whether his home depot garden hose is being used or not. Trust me, I know. I'm glad this guy has been exposed but lets not get so dramatic.

will take your word for it. Sounds like you know what you're talking about, though I still think there's something to my (slightly dramatized) point.

Say there's a fire on the block, for instance, and the attachment on guy's garden hose breaks off when the figher fighters unscrew it from the hydrant. Sure the odds of that happening are very small but when it comes to public safety even worst case scenarios like this have to be taken into account. Minutes and even seconds of lost time can make huge amounts of difference in fighting fires.

But like I say, I'll take your word, and hope this guy just quits watering his lawn from the hydrant which simply ain't right.

i am familiar with this guy live near here have seen i guess its his crew fertilizing his lawn in uniform with the city dot truck park outside there i have lived in the area for 15 years and he has been doing this since i lived here

Send the link to NYC.org - turn him in and lower our taxes. What else is he stealing - everthing that is not nailed down?

That jackoff has signs all over the street. If it were up to him, dogs wouldn't even be allowed on the sidewalk. I hate that guy, rat him out.

Look, he's a city employee. So are the City Council members.

Both are caught stealing from taxpayers.

Be prepared. The Commissar will now arrange to have the taxpayers cough up $600 an hour for an attorney to defend him.

Fair's fair. Eh, Commissar?

Turn him in to DOI!

What times of the day does this guy water his lawn with City resources???

Anonymous said...

he waters his lawn all times of the day sometimes when i guess its slow at his city job and when he is off ,he has all the time in the world i guess hes gettin payed sometimes to water his lawn on our dime i have been told that the doi has been notified but he received no reprimand for the signs.

even if the doi had these pictures i would doubt they would do anything, i wonder if he parks dept cares about stolen city signs being nailed into city trees that that was not allowed, oh yeah that on for the non city employees

Anonymous said...

someone should tape him in the act and send it to doi so there is proof.

Anonymous said...

does anybody have better quality pictures? you can't even see the guy, or read the sign.

the local newspapers might take some interest in this.

someone should take better clear pictures of his face so he can be identified... then post it on the website...

...the justice system is so screwed up, in some ways, that he'd probably sue for defamation of character!
