Video proof that Crowley and Maltese are not too bright

Middle Village, Maspeth, Glendale, Ridgewood, Richmond Hill and Woodhaven are "all sections of Queens"? Holy crap, who knew? I'm glad you're running to make the city safer for animals (and not people) throughout "all of the boroughs and this council district". Here I thought this council district was part of one of the boroughs, so I'm glad this substitute teacher and union painter cleared that up. And hey, Liz: next time, don't record within earshot of screaming kids.

"You see Serf in the neighborhood all the time, but did you know he works just as hard in Albany?" Sad that they actually have to ask the voting public this question, ain't it? I only see Serf in my neighborhood posing for photos or stuffing his face. I never saw him once actually working. So, the answer is yes, I believe he takes his loafing self up to Albany and works "just as hard" up there.

Thank you to the NY Observer Politicker for bringing us these unintentionally hilarious political spots.

Is that Bobbi from Bobbi and the Strays in the Crowley spot? Oh man, my opinion of her was just taken down a few notches.

you cant even compare crowley and serf. she can barely speak. i bet she doesnt know how many boroughs there are in NYC. I like the serf spot.

Is this a video of a talking dog?

The dog doing the talking needs a leash. Also needs to go back to school on the geography of Queens.

Dizzy Lizzie is actually charming if you don't mind drivel.

That is Bobbi. She does great work with the animals. I've seen her teach dogs how to fetch and roll over. I'm guessing she's been hired to teach Liz ------(fill in the blanks. Have at it!)

Serf,

There are old-age and retirement homes in Albany.

Start looking into them.

I like Liz' priceless "what do I say now" look right before the tape is cut.

Anonymous said...

hey at least with dizzy lizzy no one in the area will have to worry about their grandparents being molested by their city council rep...

Then again, you might have to look out for your pets...

Always felt dogs were smarter than a lot of people. Thanks for proving it Lizzy.

Crappy is right, they are both shit.

See Serf, See Serf Run, See Serf Run Scared!

Serf's ad is total BS..!

Until he was almost beaten by a virtual unknown political neophyte in the last election cycle Serf was a non-entity in the community...

He consistently votes against his middle class constituents and with Joe Bruno and his fellow upstate senators on issues of grave concern such as public school education, gun control, etc. to the detriment of the neighborhoods he represents...

Serf gives more money to cats and dogs than to the hard working people living in the 15th Senate District...

Now that Serf has a viable opponent in Joe Addabbo, he's running scared...

I think Serf's days are numbered..!

Does Elizabeth Crowley have a muzzle on, or is that her actual speaking voice? She is a complete joke. Maybe she should run for dog catcher, but definitely not the City Council.

Anonymous said...

Elizabeth Crowley is a dog.

Anonymous said...

Is Crowley deaf? Or is that a speach impediment. Woof, woof. Meow!!!!!!!!!

Saw the Maltese add it was horrible and hysterical.
What a loser and who funded that commercial hmm?

Anonymous said...

Maltese funds cats, dogs, st. saviors, jpca, local colleges and high schools. what a creep. way to hit it on the head quintana, ha!!!

Anonymous said...

Maltese went out of his way not to fund Newtown Historical Society on the St. Saviour's issue and hasn't funded JPCA in a few years. He had no problem funding Gallagher's phony civic association, however.

Someone must have tipped Serf and Liz off because the clips are gone.

Anonymous said...

They don't need to be tipped off, trust me they are all reading Queens Crap. All elected reps' staff check the newspapers and the blogs everyday.

Anonymous said...

The Maltese clip was advertised during the Mets game around 5 times last night.

serf promised money to the ridgewood reservoir group i belong to but that never materialized.

Maybe the reason you morons have these funding problems (Wilkinson) is because you spit such venom at EVERYONE who doesn't lap at your ass....

Try working with the community, not against it. Then you would never have these problems.

A message to the previous anonymous poster who is a member of the Highland Park/Ridgewood Reservoir Alliance group...

I'd like to advise you that Serf's office did in fact obtain $3500 for the HP/RR Alliance group through the NY State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation...

It was the HP/RR Alliance groups lack of follow-up with his office that may have led you to believe that the $ wasn't forthcoming...

I recently followed-up with Serf's rep, Michael Johnson, after the CB10 meeting on April 3rd and the funding letter was received by the HP/RR Alliance within one week...

There are some legal requirements (501(c)3 and non-profit status, etc) that need to be fulfilled by the group before the grant money can be accessed by the HP/RR Alliance but the commitment is good through August 31, 2009...

If you require any additional details please feel free to contact me off-list and I would be happy to fill you in...

Anyone who knows me is aware that I'm no Serf fan, but I believe fair is fair...and his office did secure the grant $ for the HP/RR Alliance...that's the truth of the matter..

"It was the HP/RR Alliance groups lack of follow-up with his office that may have led you to believe that the $ wasn't forthcoming..."

When a senator awards money, the awarding agency sends a letter. It should not be up to the group to contact his office to receive the money. From what I heard, the money was supposed to be $3500 for 2007 and $3500 for 2008. And this new RR group cannot receive money for 2007, because they just formed in 2008. So Serf failed to deliver to the previous group despite promising money.

Anonymous said...

Do you mean to tell me that Serf secured money last year for a group that didn't yet exist? Someone should investigate this.

Anonymous said...

You will never see that money.

Anonymous said...

Hey, maybe I stole it! That seems to be the rumor around town lately. Of course, these things are always said behind my back and never to my face by cowards who call themselves civic activists.

Anonymous said...

"There are some legal requirements (501(c)3 and non-profit status, etc) that need to be fulfilled by the group before the grant money can be accessed by the HP/RR Alliance"

If Serf's office told you that, they lied to you. Just about any community organization can access money if they have an existing tax-exempt organization sponsor them. You're being played for fools by Serf.

Here's a civic lesson for the moron who made this comment.

A: It's OUR tax dollars.
B: No citizen (taxpayer) needs to "lap" at any politician's ass to get the fair share of OUR tax money.
C: politicians need to lap at the taxpayers' ass and like it.
D: taxpayers are not as stupid as a politician's staffer who makes such moronic statements.
D: Update your resume; your employment ends real soon.

Hmm...sounds like the staffer of a politician that's soon to be handed his walking papers for working against the community instead of for it. I also believe it is Serf who spits venom at groups he fears will not back him, as if this is going to help him on election day. Wrong move, asshole.

Anonymous said...

Hey the lack of funding is not a problem. We can make it on our own, which makes us more frightening to the pols. When you don't control an organization's purse strings, you really can't control their behavior.

Anonymous said...

I must have missed something. What did the JPCA ever do to Serf? I've only read positive stories in their magazine about him. Is he paranoid?

Anonymous said...

Show me a politician who isn't paranoid. Paranoid could be all of their middle names.

Anonymous said...

"He had no problem funding Gallagher's phony civic association, however"

Yes, how about that civic? What have they done with their public funds? Didn't Gallagher also fund it with council money?

Has the city council slush investigation yet delved into Gallagher giving money to a civic headed by his fat fundraiser? A civic that has does nothing except give out awards to school principals every six months? A civic that couldn't even attract enough people to elect their officers? How much did those awards cost, Humpty Joe?

Good to know that the sexual predator is still blogging from the unemployment line. The Pink shitpile is the main thing the civic blasted, and the civic has been proven right, to put it mildly.

Christina

could st. saviors be saved if marshall, serf and hevesi didnt give a total of $250K?

how much in private funds have been raised?

Anonymous said...

I know that reps of the JPCA were at Serf's luau. You have to wonder what made him turn on them.

Anonymous said...

Whatever it was it can't be so bad that the old guy would give up both their monetary support and their votes. Pissing off the biggest civic in the district is a stupid, stupid move.
