That's quite a firewall!
Sometimes you just pass a Queens Crap specimen that boggles your mind. I have to say that a wall like this is something I've never come across before.
This appears to have been a subdivision in order to build an "attached" two-family house.
The old house needs a lot of work, and the new one apparently still does as well.

If that new monstrosity is a two family house why do they have three electric meters?
Oh that's right, all cellars need their own electric meter, you know, just in case.
Simply priceless, Crappie!! The DOB was refused access by someone living in the cellar which is not a living quarters according to the C of O. Too funny... DOB Inspectors don't see violations when they fall over them!! That mess in the backyard is a violation, too.
Oh, by the way...what is the address for that wall in the first picture?
That is the funniest shit I've seen here yet. That looks like the biggest piece of drywall ever made.
That area has a lot of mcmansions that were built in the past 15 years.
Looks like Trump's wall in that first photo. LOL!
This is Queens, the Wild West for developers.
Anything goes here.
Why are we all surprised?
With the help of crooked council members, developers get greased through their projects.
In return, council members are well supplied with campaign donations.
Can we win?
Yes we can! Vote out incumbents, unless they are really advocating for your district.
Hmmmmm....how many are?
I change my socks and underwear daily.
Perhaps the same is needed to prevent governmental fungus from growing.
I think Trump was practicing.
Look at the bottom right of the first photo. The shed with the sloping roof is the entrance to the illegal basement apartment. You think it's an old shed because it's very different materials than the rest of the house.
the photo that you claim to need a lot of work, why that's how it is in Queens. Absentee landlords don't spend any money on landscaping or gardening. They try to guilt trip tenants into doing it for free. But if they don't no problem as long as they can keep overcharging tenants on the rent.
This is where I become a fan of graffiti.
"Fuck the developer" in nice fat red spray painted letters!
