Another hotel to be built somewhere in Flushing

From GlobeSt:

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. reports it will open a dual-hotel development in two years time in Flushing that will feature a Four Points by Sheraton Flushing and Element Flushing properties.

Owned by Century Construction Group, the hotels, to open in September 2015, will be 10 minutes from LaGuardia Airport.

“We look forward to bringing two world-class Starwood brands to Flushing as we continue to accelerate our portfolio growth in New York City,” said Allison Reid, senior vice president of North America Development, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. “The upcoming opening of Four Points by Sheraton Flushing and Element Flushing will help satisfy the growing appetite for Starwood’s affordable and stylish brands in this vibrant urban market.”

Does anyone know exactly where this will be built? The release doesn't give an address.

Finally! A classier address for our hookers!

Hotels wear out quickly. Like Dutch Kills, these places will soon become human warehouses.

Within a decade or two most will be barracks just like they have in Hong Kong.

A nice back way to get around housing regulations in place for a century.

No address there, either.

Flushing sure lacks hotels! And the Flushing subway line is underutilized. The check is in the mail.

Anything else?

If I was visiting here from another country or state, Queens would not be on my list of "must see".... I would just stay in Manhattan where the tourists are and sight see there.... there's nothing exciting to see in queens.

The only hotels I have seen in Flushing are the hot sheets kind, in crummy areas. Just the other day I spotted a "hotel" at the end of a dead end street populated by lumber yards and such off of College Point Blvd. in a heavily Chinese stretch of it. Since the immediate area is really decrepit and slum-looking, it could not possibly be a residence for tourists.

I've always wondered why this thoroughfare was termed a "boulevard" as I don't seem to remember more than 50 feet of it at any point being free of potholes and huge bumps.

I think it's at Roosevelt Av and Prince St. Or I'm thinking of the Hyatt Place they're currently building...
