Interesting how a "local civic leader" can continue to illegally promote his businesses in the community with impunity. This one was taken outside of PS209 and was placed well over 10 feet up, making in impossible to reach and remove. Questions are: How did they get it so high up? Did they have a permit for the equipment used to illegally get it up? Why is this being allowed?
When we inquired in the school, we were told they have complained about that same company's signs around the entire school to 311 numerous times, and nothing has been done. "As a matter of fact more signs were placed."

Maybe if enough people called the offending business and expressed their displeasure and expressed why they won't patronize that business they would change their tactics.

again, you need to start a very noisy campaign with your local electeds and their appointees on the community board.
the 311 is to a large extent is designed to divert attention away from them and is about as useful as the 'walk' button at traffic lights.
remember, you don't elect a bureaucrat.
I have reported similar signs on the 311 website and within a week they are usually removed. Go to the new york city 311 website and in the search box type poster Click the first link for Flyer or poster on public property complaint and make a report.

I'm pretty sure there's actually an agreement under the table for the CM to endorse the lawyer if said CM is elected to congress. I also hear some one from the CM office is very interested in running for cc but on the other party's lines.

This crew has made a lot of deals. They make my days hanging in Brooklyn seem like nothing. Only difference is the boys from Brooklyn were honest about who they were and what they did. I think some of them should come around and see what's going on around here with these crooks. They might learn a thing or two or decide to get into politics in northeast queens.
