The police have arrested two men suspected of killing a livery-cab driver in a botched robbery in January.

Investigators say they believe that one suspect, Auther Lattan, worked
with the victim, Jaroslaw Bielawski, at a car service in Long Island City, Queens. Mr. Bielawski, 62, was found in his Lincoln Town Car on Jan. 9 with a gunshot wound to the head. The car was found parked near the car service base.

Mr. Lattan, 22, and the other suspect, Gregory Johnson, 32, both of Brooklyn, were charged with murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

Mr. Bielawski, of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, was a married father of two, according to published reports.
