This is a waste of time. Perhaps an English course will help our linguistically-challenged mayor.

Doorman Gioia reads spanish very well. Bloomberg with all his billionaires is ugly, short, linguistically-challenged and NOT president of the USA. Oh the ego.

oh, i remembered that day now, no wonder all those spanish-speaking people were confused about the snow. Stupid Bloomberg mispronunciation conveyed a different message. I hope he doesn't do this when the Tsunami hits NYC.

You'll know when to swallow your cyanide capsule when the Mayor starts to speak in Mandarin. Tse-tse.

Oh, well, at least Bloomberg did Spanish people the courtesy that so many refuse us..namely, speak the language.

Perhaps people have forgotten who immigrated and who actually live here. When I was growing up, the majority of my neighbors were native Greek and Italian speakers and I don't recall anyone of them expecting the Americans to switch languages.

Learning a new language is difficult, especially as an adult. I hope that I will hear more fractured English on the streets of Astoria, and less fluent Spanish.
