According to the data, voters support term limits for state lawmakers by a margin of 58 - 37 percent, with 5 percent undecided. And it's supported across party lines: Democrats support it 55 - 38, with Republicans even more in favor of it, 66 to 31; independent voters also support it 57 to 40.
Sounds like a great idea, but why bother. The people of NYC voted for term limits twice, and the powers that be overrided those votes. The voters don't matter anymore. The politicians select them and our job is to elect them. They don't represent us, they only care about their political agendas and what is in it for them. Why vote at all? in the end, our votes really don't count.

Best idea I heard about the state in a very long time.
Term limits are the way to go and dont forget to remind Bloomberg of that every single day.

I'd love for this to happen. My assemblywoman, Mayersohn has been running unopposed for most of her career. We need some new faces in Albany.
I would love state term limits. These politicians think they are entitled to these jobs. Term limits would serve the public well. Hope it happens!
Hey...more work for "Parkside"
with a higher turnover rate!
Some of these f-----g incumbents are practically chained to their seats!
Get the bolt cutters and toss them out of the hall!
