Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. I wish you would have included a photo of the oldest pre-school in Queens called the Pickwick School. My parents owned the school between 1980-2005 but it was in existence since 1941. I have original photographs of the school from the late 1950's if you would like to add them to your post about old Briarwood. The URL for the school is www.pickwickschool.com
Although it is under new ownership, it was sold at a lower price to continue the school as opposed to a developer who wanted to build 3 2-Family homes. Something I wish more people would consider.
Those homes are so beautiful. How come new developments can't seem to have the same charm?
