GOP says, "Hit the road, Mike!"

From NY Magazine:

“All five county chairmen are extremely upset, and at least four are not willing to endorse the mayor for election,” says one GOP county chairman. Bloomberg “has abandoned Republican Party ideals. Right now, it’s anybody but Mayor Bloomberg. It’s extremely clear to me that my executive committee would rather stay broke than support Mayor Bloomberg.”

The GOP morons. When was the Commissar ever a Republican anyway?

These goddamn GOP imbeciles have no ideals for even someone corrupt to abandon.

Just what is there in the Republican party to appeal to civic-minded taxpaying voting citizens? "We are the party of table scraps, of sloppy seconds. That's our motto and those are our ideals."

WTF is your personal problem Taxpayer? If the GOP supports him they're no good and when they don't support him, they're no good. What would you have them do?

Ideals? The Republican Party still has ideals? What are they?

They'd dance to Mike's tune, except he's already embarassed them.

Since Bloomie's really a liberal democrat (on most things), it could be smart for the GOP to let him fight it out with the other liberals. In a three-way race, maybe, MAYBE, if the GOP can find a solid somewhat-conservative candidate they might have a shot.

A) Nothing personal, at all. This is all about getting honest, serious government.

B) I would have them first go and purchase some spine. Then, locate their principles. After that, announce those principles to the world, and stand up for them.

C) Take consistent, principled stands on issues and expect the media to trash those stands. Keep plugging until the voting public finally sees that Republicans will take honest, positions that are good for voting taxpayers.

Maybe ex councilman and rapist Dennis "pinky" Gallagher was an example of Republican Party ideals.

H-m-m-m....
and maybe Hiram Monster-rat
represents low down Democratic clubhouse morality!

Honestly...
aren't politicians just slightly above the grade of child molesters?

Most wind up f-----g their constituency anyway!

Nice general rhetoric, I agree. But what's your plan of action? As Sean Connery said to Kevin Costner in the "Untouchables", What are you prepared to do? How much shoe leather are you going to wear out while carrying petitions? How many meetings and fundraisers are you going to go to? What office are you going to run for? What are prepared to do? Really? And then what are prepared to do?
