Anyone know what the notes say?

Dear Pole Flyer, while I do not condone the violence threatened from either side. I have to inform you that you're on home security cameras and the sanitation dept would like to speak with you about your illegal flyers and the 75 dollar fine per flyer that comes with. You failed to grease the correct palm and now you owe some cash. Shall we post your image here to assist the dsny?

If someone selfishly parks in or blocks your driveway they deserve to be left a nasty note. Not threatening, but nasty.

Lovely neighbors!

Without knowing what the first sign said, I don't know who to hate in this situation.

Gotta be Astoria

People either take action or threaten to take action, but very rarely do they do both.

Ice pick jab all four tires. In the sidewalls so they can't be plugged. Problem solved!

That's right, exactly and its almost ALWAYS after the bars close when working people are parked, in for the night and sleeping.
I worked all my life to buy my home, driveway, garages, work truck and cars. Come home drunk, block my driveway to sleep off some hangover when I gotta go in the morning you certainly deserve at least several f*ck you's !
God dam ignorant foreigner's and lazy good for nothing Millennials.

Back in the good days we would take the plates off and place a trolly jack (a large bodyshop jack on wheels) under the rear axil and pull the blocking cars right into the middle of street sideways. DOT would come in 10 minutes and do the rest.

Amazing how Fox News Sheeple suddenly assume that this was started by someone blocking a driveway. Maybe it was or wasn’t, but easy to see how FoxSheeple believe every hair brained conspiracy around.

Sure you did.

Maybe in your dreams. Or maybe like Joe, you saw it on tv and believed it was you.

Sure they did !
The Italians knew all the tricks because most at the time were plumbers & auto mechanics.
Back then all cars had solid rear end differential axils.
You cupped the rear axil by the differential ball (was the lightest part of the car) get the wheels an inch or so off and pull with another pushing the front.
Done in 30 seconds, parking gear and emergency brake defeated because the rear wheels were off the ground.
Collision shops, impounds and the mafia often used this technique to quickly move cars they didn't have keys to

Of course you could not do this with a front wheel drive Rivera, Toranado or Eldorado but.. then again back in them days people who owned such fancy big $$$ cars were respectful and didn't leave them around where they could be damaged or towed.
It was always the beat up Cutlass, Nova, Vega, Pinto and B-210 people who did this, and they were usually stolen or 2: Your $200 paper license plate Delaware auction cars.
Even back then the city would not remove a car with a license plate, it was on you to pay a tow truck, then end up in some civil beef.

Yes, its the one with the car parked in the middle of the street, with no plates and a dolly jack under the wheels.
You might also see a pig fly overhead at the same time.

Must be Astoria. I walk down the street every morning and see people leaving nasty notes on each others cars. or nasty notes for the Traffic Agent that gave them a ticket.

@Gino

True. Creativity is the way to deal with city bureaucracy. Especially Now.
It's not violent and it gets action.
Good on You!

People plagued by film companies in NYC learned how to get rid of them by blasting stereos out of their windows when the Director called "ACTION." The film crews were gone in hours and have never returned to those streets.

When American soldiers in WW II were given orders they knew were bad by Officers, they followed the orders down to the last dotted "I." The Officers never gave those orders again.

This is American Ingenuity. Where has it gone?
Its gone because we have allowed ourselves to become Infiltrated
