Senate Dems can't get Assembly Dems to pass their bills?

The following spreadsheet lists the members of the Senate in 2015, how many bills they introduced and how many were passed.  Stats taken from Capital New York.

Sponsor             Introduced   Passed Senate      Passed Both
Addabbo                 42                     8                         1
Avella                    224                  28                       10
Comrie                   42                     7                         0
Gianaris                 56                     5                          1
Peralta                   71                     3                         0
Sanders                  70                     5                          1

I guess the trolls can give up their "Avella can't get any bills passed" nonsense. It seems he's the only Queens senator who can.

When you look at the whole Senate, the Queens crew seems to be among the least productive. What else is new.

There should be no argument about the efforts of T. Avella, who on this list resembles the power hitter of a batting lineup. Maybe if the others were has busy and persistent, a lot of stuff might get done.

A ton of bills introduced, but only a tiny fraction of the bills passed. So is the main reason for the introduction of such a large amount of bills, to be able to brag to the voters that they are actually doing something in Albany?

Thank God for Avella. At least Queens has one productive member. The rest of them are useless. They need to be voted out. This is why Queens is a mess.

It dependents of the bills. Probably some bills should not be passed at all, especially democratic bills...

We need Al Centola in the Assembly. The Avella/Centola team will save our City.

They are all stupid that's the problem, Avella is Ok however he sold us out last election and I NEVER see him pounding fists at the jackass mayor in public. In my opinion he hasn't the balls & nastiness to start the type of shitstorm needed to get the flush chain pulled. His lawyer friends and college educated standing behind him at some podium may see him as brilliant, cordial, polite but the average uneducated voter views all that as weakness. When in the sewer or in a den of snakes you MUST play dirty to survive and come off as a leader!!

The stupid elected these politicians and things are only going to get worse. I have figured it all out and here is my hypothesis:

Ever since Lyndons Johnson "Great Society Act" And "forced integration acts" rammed down out throats at gunpoint children have been sent to school so central planners can mold them into functionally illiterate cogs in a centrally planned machine, having just enough knowledge to do preassigned tasks (voting democrat included) !! How will such cogs be able to think critically, much less sustain liberty and this is EXACTLY the point. Look at the age of these hacks running New York and do the math.

Utopian dictators like Lyndon Johnson, Obama, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot and Mao are criminals – genocidal psychopaths who have made life miserable for more human beings in the last hundred years than any other time in history. They don't limit their corruption to individuals, but to entire nations.
Here in the USA a new form of utopians, the "progressives," have been destroying traditional America from the inside out by strategically dumbing down its population the quickest way possible. Including a tsunami of 3rd world garbage to turn every classroom, neighborhood, police department, courthouse and hospital in the country upside down.
Why can people see this chaos is being engineered to "break" the country, its Constitution, laws and create a "new bigger country" that includes Mexico and Central America making an enormous pool of cheap labor and young obedient new people.

This makes is clear that our legislators are a sham - take a look at Crowley and Gianairis - considered top in their legislative bodies. Outside of pandering to developers, what do they do?

They siphon off money from our communities for the organization. Money that in generations past as used to support community groups, is now given to pay the bloated fees of lobbyists and obscenely expensive political contests. The money that used to come from donations of civic minded individuals now buys favor from the pols, and the community groups are now dependent on the whims of politicians.

Since the people of Queens are pretty extreme in their passiveness and low standards, nothing is expected of these guys. A senior program here, some kids there, and - with no other options, they get into office over and over again. They do nothing for their communities, but the people are totally clueless.

Crappy and other blogs are starting to change this but it will take time.

In one form or another , Albany gridlock is part of its history.
The state capitol has been a great hideout for expatriot NYC crooked politicians.
As soon as a crooked NYC or ineffective pol is term limited out,
they all scramble up to Albany , where there are fewer watchfull eyes in the boondocks than there are in the city.
