Switcheroo by the Brothers Weprin?

From the Daily News:

Queens Assemblyman David Weprin says he’s thinking about running for the City Council seat being vacated by his brother Mark — reclaiming the seat that he previously held before Mark took over.

“I haven’t ruled it out,” David Weprin said. “I did represent that district for eight years, and I thought I served it well.”

The brothers, both Democrats, have traded places once before — Mark Weprin was a longtime assemblyman before running for the Council seat then held by David, who in turn headed for Albany.

So what, neither brother knows how to make an honest living,
Leave them at the trough, they only steal a little,oy vey.

And they both have never worked a day in their lives.

It's up to the voters but we still need term limits and many other reforms to stop this "Crap" !

Doesn't it all depend on whom Crowley chooses?

He'd be coming back for one term? Makes no sense.

So the dumber of the Weprin brothers is considering a run? Since their daddy, Saul, the Weprin brand name still fills the supermarket shelves. It is all about product placement in politics. Whether it's Kellogg's cereals or the Weprin dynasty...brand name recognition determines who makes the most sales. Dumber than David, are the voters who kept the Weprin's in business since the 1970s.

Term limits don't help in this case when one brother's term runs out, the other brother can run for the same seat, repeating the order until one brother dies and then the seat passes on to the children.

A ban on dynasty politics is what we need because at this time, our city has an alphabet's worth:
Addabbo and Arroyo
Boyland and Barron
Crowley, Clinton and Cuomo
Diaz and Dilan...

Vallone
WWeprin...

Rivera
Serrano and Stavisky

Am I missing any other city dynasties?

And we thought the Vallones were bad... on second thought, no one is bad as the Vallones.

Now that Scarborough is gone, David didn't want to be known as the one with the worst toupee in Albany.

Are they going to switch toupees?

Isn't there a two term limit for the City Council?

"Isn't there a two term limit for the City Council?"
-------
There is term limit only on two CONSECUTIVE terms. Karen Koslowitz ran and got elected once more after being term-limited and sitting out one term.
