Giving thanks for the mother-in-law

If your mother-in-law makes it, why is your name on it, Jim?

Looks like Gennaro fell off the turnip truck.

The series is pathetic....

the close relationship between the press and the politicians in Queens is truly sad - and the public is shortchanged.

politicians are verbose even when writing recipes.

you should be happy he gets along with his mother-in-law, unlike most Americans, who make punch lines out of their in-laws.

Why do you support Gennaro? What has he done for your community?

Here are a few examples:
Bills requiring the city to purchase energy-efficient appliances, power plants to cut emissions, $7 million for after-school programs in his district...
In addition, the first time he ran for City Council, the party machine did not endorse him- and he still won. That says something about his ability to win as an independent. He is an alumnus of SUNY, and taught at CUNY, so he should be familiar with the importance of public education.

I do wish though, that he would be more outspoken on the neglected Flushing Meadows Park, and on overdevelopment.
