At least there are banks nearby

I was just thinking to myself that Ridgewood needs more development. And this site at Starr Street and Metropolitan Avenue has a festive green construction fence in anticipation of work throughout the holidays.
Wow, luxury condos! With a 25-year tax abatement no less. Where do we sign up? Wait, let's not act with haste. Let's get a feel for the neighborhood first.
Oh. Well I bet the public transportation is good...

And please allow me to inform my neighbors and fellow bloggers that Caldwell/Phillips loves to make money off the community, but have extremely short arms and deep pockets when it comes to giving back to the community. And while I'm at it, whats with that (abandoned and or unoccupied) building that Phillips owns on the south east corner of 79th & Metropolitan?

So.. when will we see luxury condos on Rust Street? 18-wheelers make such good neighbors.
