They were cracking down on these types of signs
around the Bell Blv'd. area in Bayside last summer !

HOW ABOUT A CITY LAW
REQUIRING POSTING ENGLISH
ON ALL SIGNS ?

I think that's a far more important public safety issue !

so if these free-standing signs are illegal and you see one while walking down a sidewalk would it be okay to kick it down and wipe your feet on it? :)

because on one, sidewalk signs, you pay a fine (revenue) and with the other, foreign signs, the people are fine (soldiers for the machine)

These signs are temporary, and could easily be moved. Shouldn't the city be spending its time on permanent illegla signs instead?
