Southside Queens Trailer Hideaway

Crappy word on the street...

If you drive on 134 street before south conduit by the Nassau express overpass or the Nassau expressway service roads you might notice these RVs tractor trailers. Box trucks and other commercial vehicles using this strip as a rest stop.

Problem is the trucks and RVs do not ever move they just sit here. Who is enforcing the law in this location?

It’s absolutely ridiculous how they are getting away with this. But does this fall under the NYPD or port authority jurisdiction? Nobody seems to know. Maybe queens crap can help.

JQ: Maybe Rockaway Hideaway is expanding?

It’s NYPD. Port Authority ends near the HB Air Train tracks. Why does this bother you anyway? Last year the public told the police enforcing laws are racist. Nobody stood up to argue that.

NYPD clearly has jurisdiction over the illegal parking. The Port Authority could also take action, it has pretty broad powers and this is close to the airport, but they usually leave these kind of problems to NYPD.

Karen Koslowitz and Bob Holden were working on enforcement and a bill to target the RVs and tractor trailers. Was a problem in their districts. They’ve leaned on the local precincts to ticket the ones illegally parked. After a few tickets, the vehicles would relocate. I think I recognize one of those RVs. The guy use to park in Maspeth.

Unfortunately, your area is represented by Adrienne Adams. She often doesn’t respond to complaints from residents in her district, especially those west of the Van Wyck. Sadly, the guys she defeated in the recent primary sounded even worse.

You got this up in Vallonia where an enormous 'Greek Superstore' Van was ditched right across the front entrance of Steinway for a few years giving distinguished visitors from around the world, in one moment, an opportunity to fix their impression of DeBlazio's New York and to undo the efforts in millions in tourist dollars.

The flat tires and missing license plate gave the image of Queens as a dissolute gypsy camp stereotype to the self-typed 'Worlds Borough' to the outside world, complemented by the fleet of campers and cars parked nearby.

The obligatory of the 'Steinway Mansion Warehouse District' drive-by gave every international A-list entertainer's take-home on the 'decline of NYC' which they undoubtedly literally took home to their fellow cultural elites in Europe and the Far East.

NYC? What law?

Contact the NY POST and the local media.

They will go in and take pictures and videos and start questioning the politicians and the NYPD.

That might get them to do something.

--Maybe.

What’s wrong with parking your RV on the street. People park their cars on the street every day. Who is it that says that people cannot live in an RV? This is not a communist country. Suddenly the so called freedom people are against freedoms? How convenient.

The same shit that's going on in California is happening here.
Those RVs are homeless people, they communicate with the truckers on CB radio and work together.
Irish & Rominichal Gypsy Home Improvement season is also coming, those pickups & RV usuall have Delarware, Virginia and points south license plates.
Usually drapes or covers in the side windows
They work the elderly with maintenance and driveway scams until Thanksgiving tome

Oh my how the stupid general public in NYC must be educated:

Homeless, Artist, Musician, Boondocker, Irish gypsy, Tinker, RV Sporter, 5th wheeler, Blackwater dweller, Camp hosting, Caravan are all the same shit.

What we have here, around Home Depots and Walmarts is called Boondocking.
