Andrew Cuomo's Department of Health sends COVID-19 infected elderly people to nursing homes expecting them to die

The first coronavirus patients admitted to a Queens nursing home under a controversial state mandate arrived along with some grim accessories — a supply of body bags, The Post has learned.

An executive at the facility — which was previously free of the deadly disease — said the bags were in the shipment of personal protective equipment received the same day the home was forced to begin treating two people discharged from hospitals with COVID-19.

“My colleague noticed that one of the boxes was extremely heavy. Curious as to what could possibly be making that particular box so much heavier than the rest, he opened it,” the exec told The Post Thursday.

“The first two coronavirus patients were accompanied by five body bags.”

Within days, three of the bags were filled with the first of 30 residents who would die there after Gov. Cuomo’s Health Department handed down its March 25 directive that bars nursing homes from refusing to admit “medically stable” coronavirus patients, the exec said.

Like clockwork, the nursing home has received five body bags a week — every week — from city officials.

“Cuomo has blood on his hands. He really does. There’s no way to sugarcoat this,” the health care executive added.

Why in the world would you be sending coronavirus patients to a nursing home, where the most vulnerable population to this disease resides?”

Since March 25, the Queens nursing home has admitted 17 patients from hospitals who tested positive for coronavirus, but in a bitter irony most of them have fared well, the exec said. Those who have died passed away without a test or while awaiting the results from one.

“The rest of the people are dropping like flies — literally like flies — and most of them have been with us for years,” the exec added.

COVID-19 has killed at least 3,540 residents of New York’s nursing homes and adult care facilities as of Wednesday, according to the most recent state Health Department data

I'm not sure this is unusual. After a hospital sickened my father with C-Diff, they transferred him to a nursing home to die. His health was already very compromised. I'm more mad at his wife for not taking him home to die, which he begged to do.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The subways are only supposed to be for essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic, but conductors say the trains are filthier than ever.

The MTA says only about 5% of its regular ridership is taking the subway during this pandemic, and that’s made up of people who work in hospitals, grocery stores and every other essential service.

But conductors say the subway has become a homeless shelter and social distancing is nearly impossible. Cell phone video shows subway cars lined with people passed out, using shoes as pillows, not wearing masks, with trash piled in shopping carts.

“There is an astronomical amount of homeless people now in the subway,” MTA train conductor Tramell Thompson said. “The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is now the Metropolitan Transmission Authority. They are transporting this virus.”

WELL WELL WELL what are the odds that Trump steps in at some point to take over the city?

Cuomo is a man of no conscience. Literally a harbinger of death for those confined to nursing homes. But the people love the Cuomos. Our next president.

Our next president?

Its going to take a long long time for this city to recover, well after the rest of the county has moved forward.

Sheeple might have let it happen, but there is too much bitterness and this pandemic has really exposed the abject failure of the modern post-1980 Democratic Party platitudes.

And I am and always will be a registered Democrat.

Time for "Dear Leader" to come back to New York and straighten this city out. Too many namby pamby liberals around messin up this place. We need a strong leader like Trump. How does Mayor Hannity sound? Or Govenor Limbaugh? That's what we need here!

Never. Trump is busy thinking of new cures for COVID19 like injecting disinfectants into the body and UV light into the body. The President is a polymath way ahead of his medical advisors! How soon we forget his innovative approach to destroy hurricanes with nukes!

That's the way the democrats treat the average American. Now if its found out that this happened to an illegal immigrant, or trangendered person identifying as an elephant all hell would be breaking loose now.

The Fact of the Matter is the World Has Already Moved Beyond the Democrats #1

Already, the economic calamity the pandemic has caused is guaranteed to blow up a lot of the comfortable assumptions that have defined the contours of our politics for the last two decades.

Consider immigration, which has roiled our politics for so long. Whatever your position is on the issue, the old equation has new variables. In a country with millions out of work, dismissing some work as “jobs Americans won’t do” may well sound offensive (and untrue) in ways it didn’t before. As agonizingly slow as the process already feels, it’s a sure bet that America and the developed world will emerge from the pandemic far sooner than poorer nations. Inviting immigrants from places where the virus is still thriving — regardless of whether you think it’s right or wrong — will simply have a very different political resonance than it did two months ago.

The World Has Already Moved Beyond the Democrats #2

https://www.nationalreview.com/the-morning-jolt/moving-out-and-not-coming-back/

Remember that Harlem, built overnight as an upper middle class community, ran into the Panic of 1907 caused by out of control real estate speculation? At the same time the cities were being filled with the children of black slaves fleeing the South and living in slums from the Village to Hells Kitchen. Buildings for one middle class family made great rooming houses for four or five black families who could pool their money together and pay the rent to retire all that construction debt.

Now lets move to today, where all those hipsters were raised to believe that the bad postwar era of cities (1950 - 1980) are over and cities are now a great place to raise the kiddies. Now guess who is revisiting things now they know they can work in their 'jammies' at home and that kids need safe space to run and are so expensive that restaurants, bars, and entertainment budgets are no longer important?

Now take a look at all those very big towers half finished, and all those 1000s of basements and flophouses in Corona that Corona13 has shown are now unlivable pest holes but filled with the real deplorables busy infecting each other for the foreseeable future.

Now boys n girls connect the dots.

Why that is exactly what they are doing in the Ohio Valley and the Rio Grande Valley!

The Party has determined its more important to build a base than serving the needs of the American citizen AKA 'The Deplorable.'
