Alan staying in the pokey

From the Daily News:

Disgraced former state Controller Alan Hevesi was denied his first attempt at parole Thursday and will spend at least another year behind bars, the Daily News has learned.

The once powerful Queens Democrat is serving a one-to-four year sentence at medium-security Mid-Hudson Correctional Facility in Oneida County for his role in a massive pay-to-play pension fund scandal during his tenure as state controller.

A three-member parole panel voted 2 to 1 to keep him locked up, citing his “shallow” attempt at accepting blame.

Oh yes, I remember Hevesi saying,
"Students, I know everything, and
you students know nothing."

How's class in prison these days, you schmuck?

might work with the electorate in Queens but, like political careers in the borough, it might go up the river but never crosses the river.

The majority of Queens officials should be behind bars
Why aren't they? Why oh why?

In keeping with the holiday season:

"Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" and apparently some justice still left in the world!

Dear Santa,
can you please help a federal judge convict John Liu, Gary Ackerman, Claire Shulman, Wellington Chen, CB#7, Joe Crowley and those very sneaky nasty Staviskys.

I know that's a tall order but I'd rather see at least 3 of them in the pokey this coming year, than find a diamond studded Rolex in my X-mas stocking.

In the meantime, thank you very much for the little Hevesi treat.

So Alan will have to continue playing "tonsil hockey" (etc.) with cellmate "Big Bubba" until he's released.

Try a dab of "KY" ointment professor Hevesi. It soothes...LOL!

"Pokey Man"...Alan Hevesi...LOL!

I just peed my pants laughing so hard!

if the three member parole board panel can be revealed, the Q.C. website should be sent to them.

the comments on Hevesi and John Liu should be highlighted.

the one member who voted to release Hevesi should be replaced quickly.

this member is incompetent.

the nyc gov. thieves deserve more punishment for their crimes against the taxpayers.

a former student of this tax thief told me that Hevesi was absent a great deal of the semester at Queens College, while building his$105,000 per year pension.

should not his pension be reduced by the number of times he was A.W.O.L ?

He collets at least 2 pensions, maybe 3. And that doesn't include what he gets for making licese plates.......

A.HEVESI ,along with Queens, NYS DEMOCRATS S.Weprin,C.Schumer,V. Nicolosi,L.Stavisky, Lisa, Landes ,Schmidt, and Cooperman, voted On 3/11/1975 for three NYS Regents members, who advocated the" forced busing "of N.Queens 8th to 12th Grade white puplis to Jackson H.S.( Campus Magnet) in Cambria Hgts.

it was a total FAILURE........

Note: in 2007,the SCOTUS ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL that pupils may be part of a "forced busing" scheme because of the color of their skin.the four conservatives and one swing judge corrected our DEMOCRAT/PROGRESSIVE Queens NYS Reps. Finally, after billions of wasted taxes ,and family relocations in U.S.public school districts.
