Aqueduct ready for big business

From CBS New York:

Finishing touches are being put on a second gaming floor at the Resorts World Casino, which will double the number of video slot machines and electronic card games, designed specifically to target New Yorkers going out of state to satisfy their gambling needs, according to casino president Mike Speller.

The second floor will actually be exclusive.

“It’ll be available to a Silver Card customer or above, which is similar to the airline concept where if you’re a frequent flier, you have added benefits,” he said.

There’s an upscale steakhouse and Chinese restaurant overlooking the Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens, and an event space for up to 130,000 people. That’s the largest event space in all of Queens.
