Abandoned Jamaica lot finally cleaned

"After many many months of complaining about this empty lot in Jamaica, Queens (169-13 90th Ave) in regards to all the garbage in front of it (including a dead raccoon) and a huge wooden fence that was falling down into the sidewalk, the situation has finally be taken care of. After many complaints to the City, Councilman Leroy Comrie, Queens Borough President Helen Marshall, Community Board #12 and Howard Thompson from Help Me Howard, this terrible eyesore and dangerous situation in Jamaica, Queens has been fixed. Don't just stand idly by, take a stand and let your local political officials know about the situation and do not let up until the problem is solved. A small victory here in Jamaica, Queens." - Joe M.

(I'm sorry but I couldn't find the Help Me Howard report. - QC)
