Why secret shelters are a bad idea

From the NY Post:

The homeless shelter that housed four young men accused in a gang sex assault on a Queens churchgoer opened last year without any notice to the neighborhood — because “confidentiality and privacy are important” to the program, City Hall said Monday.

Residents near the 21-bed facility in Jamaica were furious to learn it was operating under their noses and blasted officials for not alerting them, with one saying, “The city should put a sign there.”

“It’s not safe for the community not to know,” added Josephine Alarcon, a stay-at-home mother of three who lives a block away.

Mayor de Blasio pleaded ignorance on Monday when asked about the community outrage over the homeless shelter, which serves youths ages 16 to 21 and is about a half-mile from where the assault occurred.

Hence the only acceptable solution is to house these people where they previously lived. That way you can't blame the govt for ruining your neighborhood when it's the residence themselves.

"Mayor de Blasio pleaded ignorance" ...for the first time, he speaks the truth.

But these cretins have a "right" to shelter, as far as your right to be left the fuck alone by these animals, well not so much.

And if you hate these "temporary" shelters, your gonna love the community jails.

4 more years people. Embrace the suck.

So secret even the Mayor didn't know!

People in jails don't get to wander around the neighborhood at night.

It's just Stevie "weasel" banks getting creative with the sanctuary city statute. It's actually mayoral policy to get "creative" with the laws. It was on full display when the cops removed homeless people (except for that one at Jay st.) so he won't look at them or possibly get yelled at by them.

I am waiting for the derelict to jump out of nowhere in front of him and scream at his face "YOU THINK I'M BEGGING FOR FUN"

It's time to take this fraud down. there is only a month and a half left.

I see the "hate" word quite often in threads related to the Comrade Mayor.

Will this disdain equate to a majority of votes against him, in addition to the votes needed to overcome the "nonexistent" voter fraud...

Why having DeBozo as a mayor is a terrible idea is the better question!

OK then print your name and address and will lobby for a jail to be put in your nabe. I sure your neighbors will love how progressive and fearless you are.

'since when did age 21 get to be considered "youth"'... Probably about the time when children got covered under the families health insurance until they are 26.

You REALLY think these pillars of the community have parent(s) who have their OWN health insurance? Please pass the bong.
