AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL Q.CRAPPERS

BTW ,in Norway a beer cost $15.00. with slice of pizza $50.00. hooray for socialism. the richest oil producing country in Europe & the citizens get none of the tax relief from the elite socialist bureaucrats.

Uh...Gramps is telling wee fibs again isn't he.

Norway taxes alcohol, sugar and most imported goods at a high rate to encourage local production.

Your $15 dollar "glass' of beer will indeed run about $12 but that "slice of" pizza at $50 is pure B.S. While such food is expensive, a --whole-- pizza is more like $40US -roughly double what I pay here in Manhattan.

Norway has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the world (approx 2%) The high taxes pay for free education (including university), very low-cost healthcare, a good pension, 42 weeks parental leave at 100% (and monthly payments to help financially if you have children), and many other services.

They have one of the highest standards of living in the world.

Here, pry yourself away from Fox "news" and read a little:

My Father's family lives over there. They do not envy us here. Trust me on that.

i just got an e-mail from Norway's, ERIK, THE RED. He confirms that a glass of beer and SMALL pizza costs $50.00.

He also said GREENLAND,which he discovered and colonized, cold weather forced them to leave because of GLOBAL FREEZING.

He should try a different restaurant.

Maybe that's why the Vikings are playing so lousy this year.
