When you want cheese with holes in it go to Switzerland.
When you want loopholes then pass laws permitting them!
Do you really think that
"tweeder" lawmakers are going to introduce legislation that cuts off their pensions---should they wind up getting convicted at a future date?
Don't expect Albany legislators, who may very well end up in jail, to change the law anytime soon.
i could not link to the video.can you list the sponsors of the bill/law and nays /ayes ?
the public should know which pols. are screwing the taxpayer, or who plan to steal in the future.
We need to pass a law that states that ANY PUBLIC OFFICIAL caught stealing or breaking the law will have their pension frozen, and if prosecuted and found guilty, will forefit their pension. It would put them all on notice that they'll stand to lose lots of money if they are caught in shady dealings. Will this law ever be passed? Not in my lifetime. The first politician who gets this law passed will receive lots of votes. The public has had it with these criminals. Enough is enough.
Considering that our illustrious Members of Congress can insider trade anytime they want and it's legal, I don't suppose letting the foxes watch the henhouse is going to work on a local level either.
