Feds hunting down lone LaGuardia coyote

From PIX11:

A parking lot for LaGuardia employees was cleared out Wednesday while U.S. Dept. of Agriculture officials hunted for a coyote. This is according to several people who work for the company that runs the parking lot.

PIX11 has been covering the controversy over coyotes living near LaGuardia Airport for the last several years.

In 2016, a family of coyotes was caught and euthanized by government officials who said it was a necessary measure to protect the public. One coyote survived. Today, they were looking for that lone coyote.

The lot is located at the end of Berrian Boulevard. The crux of the argument - wildlife officials say the coyotes pose a danger to people but others say leave the coyote alone.

True Men Don't Kill Coyotes

These things come howling & hooting over the Hells Gate Bridge at night and come down into St.Michaels cemetery off Astoria Blvd to hunt. --Some they hide the cemetery and water treatment plant brush off the bay.

True Men Don't Kill Coyotes?
Tell that to the traumatized for life 5 year old who had her pet pig snatched away and dragged over a 6 foot fence. Worst was the 5 plus minutes of fading squealing screams as the Coyotes dragged it off into the distance. It happened poolside the family's own yard !
I saw and heard the whole thing happen at a party in California.

Coyotes certainly do pose a danger to people, especially if they have young.
If two small Coyotes can drag a 60+ pound live kicking and squirming pet pig over a 6 foot fence they can certainly drag a child or pet.
These are tuff, clever, sneaky, agile wild animal predators NOT YARD PETS.

Why cant all the stupid people even understand simple words or the concept of “wild" "feral" "predator" ?

That's a red hot chili pepper song, Joe, it was probably a joke. But you are correct about coyotes though. I wonder what's going to happen when cougars are wandering around riverside park.

The Feds should be 'hunting down' the REAL animals of New York State: 'Garglyle Andy' Cuomo and City Hall's disgraced Bill de BLASS-hole——two of the most dangerous animals of them all!

For further proof, just look at how they ravaged-and-tonsured New York in ways that are worse than nuclear proliferation——and, a hundred trillion times more LETHAL! Leave the coyote alone, for Christ sake, and GET TO THE REAL WORK THAT IS PLAGUING NEW YORK!

50 years ago before the idiot gun permit was put in place in the city, you were able to probably use your own gun against these guys.

Who da faq cares? Waste of time, waste of money. We have eagles, we have deer, there's a thriving bear population upstate and over the Hudson.

The City itself is naturally inimical to most wildlife larger than a rat or pigeon, so time alone would've inevitably driven the creature off in due course. Another example of wielding a disproportionate solution to "fix" a non-existent problem.

Coyotes in our area are invasive - just like the snakeheads in Flushing Meadows and now Flushing Airport.

Eventually the snakeheads, phragmitis, asian shore crabs, and whatever else will consume what's left of our intact ecosystems. We still have intact ecosystems in NYC and we still have essential fish habitat and we still are entitled to environmental reviews and impact statements.

Kindly stop showing up our country and taking a shit all over it like you did in your homeland. That's why your here. Because you have exhausted your own country of anything valuable, resourceful or unique. Please stop introducing invasives to our ecosystems.

This sounds like the introduction to an action movie trailer.
