It's wonderful that someone is thinking about our infirm and retired priests but what about the sisters? It seems that the catholic church has used them and thrown them away. Selling off all the convents sends these unpaid sisters to the worst nursing homes ever. Priests are given salaries and can accept bequests from Wills. What about the female counterpart? Don't they deserve a decent retirement for no pay all their lives?
There can't possibly be any space left for any grass or green if they manage to make 63 spaces.
- 47 spaces to double as a playground. The only large space is on 203 street, and there's no way 47 cars could fit there. There is currently a small lot that fits maybe 6-8 cars. - 8 spaces for rectory office - those are already covered by the small lot at already exists as I just mentioned - 2 spaces for convent - I suppose they could pave over the convent lawn just like half the neighborhood has already done to their own lawns - 6 handicapped spaces by the elevator - the elevator inside the church would be closest to the corner of 202 St and 34 Ave, so I guess the neighborhood can say goodbye to that swatch of green, too. 6 cars would be tight in that area, just looking at Google Street View.
Not only should the neighbors be disgusted with these plans, the parishioners should be disgusted as well.
Catholic school attendance is dropping year after year. Why bother? leave it alone. What's wrong with parking a car a walking a block or two, maybe some of the fatties will lose a few pounds. The problem here is the asshole drivers who are too lazy to park a block or two away, they double park so that junior doesn't have to walk, thereby creating very dangerous situations in the street and fatter kids, year after year.

I see you got everything figured out. Maybe is the fucking corn syrup in their diets. Maybe is the junk GMO Monsanto is peddling in supermarkets. Now think about that.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. The 63 parking spots are broken into 4 areas, don't think they will have to knock anything down.
I'm guessing the grass will be going. Unfortunate. Roof repair, yes; parking, no.
Hope they use permeable pavers... the neighborhood appears to be predominately concrete and asphalt.

Ask and The Lord shall provide.

Last poster - no it's the lack of exercise. You are incorrect.
Stop blaming big amorphous things beyond your control for your own failings and you'll be happier and more successful.
Stupid liberal kool-aid ...don't drink it!
