Stringer subpoenas NYCHA

From CBS 2:

New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer is putting NYCHA’s feet to the fire, alleging the city housing agency is stonewalling efforts to investigate why so many residents have been left without heat or hot water.

Stringer’s office announced that a second subpoena was issued to NYCHA on Friday, demanding they turn over information about multiple outages last winter. On Saturday, the comptroller said the city housing authority had “purposely done everything they can” to delay a year-long audit into the embattled agency.

In other news Stinger begins his mayoral campaign on the backs of the poor.

What's a "forced foreclosure"? Is there any other kind?

Nothing he wouldn't have the taxpayer just give more to fix!

Where was he every other year this is a problem?

Whatever happened to the lead?

Does no one go to jail anymore for violating the public trust?

He does look like a minion though.

Anybody stop the think that Comptroller Stinger might be on to something? Why not just release the info to him?

Although this is welcomed, Stringer could have done this when everyone was calling for Shoya's head and de Faustio kept backing her up. But the comptroller is doing this now because the mayor is a lame duck and will certainly soon to be subpoenaed in the Jona/Jeremy/NYPD and mayoral bribery hearings

Nice work, Scott. Now get on HRA for the thieving scums they are - start investigating HRA and why so many illegal aliens, totally incompetent people work there. Why is it that there are so very few white people working at that agency?

I hope you are right. He has turned the homeless into a cash cow with the tax payer paying the bill.
