Ladies who lunch

"Karen Koslowitz, Toby Stavisky and Grace Meng were walking by the Forest Hills Jewish Center which is having trouble delivering supplies, clothes and food they collected for Hurricane Sandy victims. When they were asked to see if they could help they said they would talk to the director of the Center.

Did they? NO!

They decided that going to lunch was more important than helping their community members who came together to help people suffering. They are useless, heartless politicians who care more about collecting a pay check than helping the people in their community and those who have lost everything. They are nothing but wasted votes and how they are representing our community is mind boggling.

Just thought Queens should know that going to lunch is more important to them than helping people in need." - anonymous

the front four look like "THE VIEW", without the good looking conservative.

the dictatorship will still win elected office in Queens.

they always do.....sad.....

Was that the event where there was a sighting of Helen Marshal cooking crow in the kitchen?

Christ! Looks like a photo for Ringling Bros. Circus.

Thank you Queens Crapper.
Halloran gets my vote over Meng. I just changed my mind even though I'm a registered democrat!

I think you mean the Ringling Bros. freak show or geek tent.

Their minds appear to be more on team Democrat and tomorrow's election not the people in Breezy Point who might be freezing tonight.

They all need to dumped like yesterdays garbage. These politicians have no compassion. All they care about is their job security and how they are going to spend our tax monies. Vote all incumbents out. You get the government you deserve -- WE DESERVE BETTER.

Anonymous said...

We deserve much better but we won't get it because we keep on re-electing hand me downs.

Our elected officials are only a reflection of who we are as a voting public.....STUPID!

Karen...find a better shade of orange hair dye.
Toby...find a better fitting bra.
Grace...smile a little and enough of your inscrutable stone face.

These ladies are out to lunch!!!

Vote for Dan Halloran and not Grace Meng!

Oh, this explains it. They were busy collecting shoes inappropriate for cleanups. Because if you have to be homeless and starving, you should at least look fashionable.

They are both truly awful.

Basically, your choice is between a fucked-up possibly brain-damaged ethically-challenged potty-mouthed lawyer who gave his mistress a paid position in his Council office and takes money from Gambino crime family members while fucking over the community he represents; or, you have the daughter of an indicted Chinese gangster who has no interest in representing the vast majority of her constituents currently (az shown in the picture with Moby and the rest of those clowns) and which won't change if she's in Congress.

Here's the thing: vote for the crooked lawyer and the Republican House majority will make him a Tea Party hero, further inflating his overactive God complex; or, vote for the gangster's daughter and have her be ineffective and watched like a hawk.

I'll take the gangster's daughter who is indifferent to me, because having Hollerin' Halloran take an interest in things that matter ALWAYS ENDS UP EXACTLY OPPOSITE THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO!!!

Can anyone verify the anonymous report? Could this be someone from Team Halloran?

Queens Crapper said...

Definitely not Team Halloran. In fact, the person who sent this in works for one of the clowns in the photo.

I think the title of this post should be changed to read:

"Ladies who make me lose my lunch"

i have my reasons for never voting democrat since 1970 ,but negative comments on Q.C. from the Halloran Hater's Anon. gang inspire me to vote FOR Halloran.

any politician supported by H.H.A.must be tainted.

That's right. We're all part of the DEM/Soc/Com conspiracy already and we're just using our mind-control powers and endless money to destroy the Republican Party.

Luckily most of the other QC readers are not you, Gramps...they know what the truth is, whether Democrat, Republican or other: elected officials have no particular political bias when it comes to corruption and contempt of the people they are supposed to represent.

And frankly, Gramps, Halloran is just a symptom of a political party that is shrinking so fast in New York City, what passes for talent these days is barely the dregs at the bottom of the barrel.

Useless cvnts!

Most people prefer to keep their voting choices private, but In this particular election I have chosen not to.

As a result, I can expect to make at least one political enemy and garner a few critical comments. Well, here it goes anyway. I've made my decision. It was difficult. I'm off to my polling place.

I WILL NOT BE VOTING FOR EITHER DAN HALLORAN OR GRACE MENG!
I have no faith in either candidate to represent our best interests in Congress.

Am I throwing away my vote? Maybe.
But that's my privilege and I must vote or not vote my conscience.

I hope that both candidates get word of this,
which I'm sure they will.

Will the winner hold this public admonishment against me? If he or she is a real public servant, they shouldn't.

Good luck to both contenders.
Citizens, please GO OUT AND VOTE!

Hey Jerry,
either Dan or Grace will do a better job than Congressman Gary Ackerman.

Jerry Rotondi said...

I'm forced to agree with you on Ackerman.

I recognize Claire Schulman's wrinkled face next to Koslowitz.

Typical Queens.

A conversation about a broad, serious issue and a political culture that is broken and dysfunctional becomes a petty spat between partisans of two pygmies.

Has there been any Joe Crowley sightings (will someone call his office and find out where in the @#&#@# he is?)

Has there been any clarification of Mr. Public Safety's committee's purpose (will someone call his office and find out @#$#&#$ it does?)

Hell no, you just want to bicker over two people that are both unqualified for public office because that is the shit sandwich the system serves you up and none of you have the brains to take a step back with the purpose of trying to make a real change.

It's 10:00 AM and I've just finished both my political and food shopping.

So, there you have it and now it's done!
I've kept my word (unlike most politicians)
and DID NOT vote for either Halloran or Meng
as I promised!

The rest of my ballot choices are none of anyone's business.

Jerry Rotondi said...

Snake--
I thought that I just did (at least) one small thing "to make a real change" in our stagnant system.

I just told candidates Halloran and Meng (via the voting booth) that I REFUSED to give either of them the job that they're seeking.

I've also got the Moxie to reveal my name online--thus exposing myself to their displeasure.

We must remember that it's WE THE PEOPLE that hire our government employees--including the president of our country.

Furthermore, I urge all you "little people", like myself, to WISE UP, SPEAK OUT and VOTE OFTEN!

Drop by drop water fills the bucket and votes fill the job position!

Ms. Tsouris said...

That does it. I was on the fence about voting for Halloran; I am hesitating since his party would like to send women back to the 12th century. I will be a wench most likely voting for him, now that Meng disgusts me even more than she did before this photo op. Notice that Claire Shulman is on the left, almost out of the picture. Why aren't they in the Rockaways with workboots and jeans on helping cold, starving residents without electricity for a week instead of posing near a stack of donations that need to find their way to those in need? What kind of "leaders" are these women anyway?

oy, bring back Anthony Weiner.......he's not looking so bad. At least he wears a tasteful black suit and tie and his hair doesn't look like he uses a "Loreal Preference" color from the sale rack at Lot Less, which clashes with Toby's suit. And he has a cute baby to tote around.

Where did they go to lunch? Martha's Country Bakery? Just curious.

They all need to lunch at Weight Watchers.

Let's hold an "ugly contest".
Who will be Queens' next "ugly queen"?

Not to mention Miss Braunstein to the right
