Cuomo sort of endorses de Blasio

From PIX11:

"The mayor won the Democratic primary. I am a Democrat," Cuomo said while explaining his endorsement. "I support Democrats and I will support Mayor de Blasio in the general (election)."

Going to walk to re-election.

God help us!

The only thing that will get him out of office is corruption charges and those aren't coming. (Thank you do nothing Preet)

It is going to be a tax and spend orgy the likes of which hasn't been seen, possibly ever!

What a good party soldier, obviously hates the Mayor but will endorse him anyway for the good of the party. So much for integrity.

Anyone who pays attention to any endorsement is a complete fool, but then again, NY voters are complete fools!

Mario's equally crooked-and-corrupt son is the reason why only 14% of DemonRats voted in the Primary on last Tuesday, September 12th. The corruption, graft and greed are now openly practiced, and without consequence——except for everyone else in the rank and file, all of whom continue to pay a soul-crushing price——and, the public be damned (again and STILL)!

TRUTH is TREASON—in an EMPIRE OF LIES!

They're totalitarian institutions—you take orders from above and maybe give them to people below you. There's about as much freedom as under Stalinism.❞ —Noam Chomsky

❝No matter how paranoid or conspiracy-minded you are, what the government is actually doing is worse than you imagine.❞ ―William Blum, Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower

❝The war was not meant to be won, it was meant to be continuous.❞ —George Orwell

❝Belief is the death of intelligence.❞ —Robert Anton Wilson

To last Anonymous: Unfortunately, it's even worse than that for everyone else in New York State. I am an inspector for the New York City Board of Elections, and because the required, yearly testing certifications for poll workers have been so unconscionably 'dumbed down' (with 'open book' final testing, no less, including the exact page numbers where the test answers can be found!), the only people who apply for this seasonal work are immigrants who can't speak, read or write in English (which doesn't stop the people at the Queens Board of Elections from offering them a chance to work), and an underclass of mostly unemployed, or underemployed people of color.

Case in point: I was the coordinator at a poll site in southeastern Queens, where three of the table inspectors sent to my polling site spoke (broken) English so badly, that I was not able to understand a word, as the almost immediate complaint of the day from many voters who went to that person's election district table to vote, walked away in frustration without voting, and the others who directed their complaints at me required me to stop what I was doing to find another English speaking person to assist them. Finally, I reassigned this poll worker to a door monitor position, but his case was not the exception to the rule.

The entire Queens Board of Elections is run like a Third World country, and what happens at the very top is symptomatic of a willfully errant government that continues to remain unaccountable right through to City Hall and Albany.

Yesterday, September 20, 2017, I placed a call to Lt. Governor Kathleen Hochul's office, and her secretary Shavawn told me that I couldn't communicate directly to anyone in the governor's office, without first submitting an e-mail, explaining my dilemma. This is what Albany has now become: an elitist, call screening center that betrays the constituency, where the politicians (not public servants), continue to misbehave like unresponsive tyrants.

Collectively, they are the 'Cause & Effect' of extreme frustration and lawlessness that permeates all layers of bureaucracy below them (which ultimately leads to violence, vigilantism and civil unrest), because they refuse to honor the oath of office that they swore to uphold, and address constituents like me with respect and accountable action, instead of the eternally hostile environment that now devalues honesty itself.

No matter what happens in November, the City and State of New York continues to operate like a kleptocratic, Third World, government bought plutocracy, where the very taxpayers' rights are abrogated with impunity on a daily basis――and, the public be damned (again and STILL)!

and the sheeple will put people like de Blasio and Crowley back in office

Well Paul Vallone absolutely supports and endorses DeBlasio which should be very scary to anyone who is even thinking about voting in the 19th District City Council elections in November.

Vote for Graziano he does not support DeBlasio and he will not be kissing his ass like Vallone will.

Are you sure it's because of changes to the test and not the fact that the pay is low? I don't recall that poll work pays particularly well...that could be why they're not attracting quality applicants.
