I do. I take care of everybody's tree on the block at certain hours and days. No more then 10 minutes trim, cleanup then disappear. The key is to take the max point of sail out of the tree and balance it. FUCK the city, all the bastards are too stupid & lazy to do a wind damage saving prune properly anyway.
The city wants them to all die or blow down so they don't have to maintain them. In some cases replace with cheap trees that stay small, problem is those small breeds of trees can not survive around cement due to the high alkaline pH and lack of water. Forget New York winters.
Only Maples, Oaks, and Hybrid's like the American Sycamore and London Plane tree do well on NYC streets. The Sycamore and London Plane are crossbreeds with die hard mountain trees from China and Siberia.
Jackass mayor where can you go past 5 with the useless bike lanes, bus lanes, How about UFO lanes, lanes for rickshaws and electric motorcycles next? People need to wake up and vote all these morons out of office, NYC can never be Amsterdam.
Thank you for your service Gino. I was a tree steward in Queens and it was too depressing. I'm glad you are out there taking care of those who make oxygen for us.
Nver had luck growing regular pines because of too much clay. But I lucke dout with Afghan Pines and plenty of MirAcid. Apparently pines don't topple easy because they got wide root spread.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

It hit and damaged the gutter at the far right of the roof. Also, shingles in that area were damaged and need to get replaced.
