Feds round up illegals in NJ

More Than 2,000 Illegal Immigrants Arrested in N.J. This Year

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- Federal immigration authorities arrested twice as many illegal immigrants in New Jersey this year compared to last year, according to new figures released Tuesday by federal authorities.

Of the 2,079 people arrested on immigration charges during the fiscal year, 270 had criminal histories in addition to being in the country illegally, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said.

By the end of September, 1,220 of those arrested had been deported.

Immigration authorities came under scrutiny this summer after a suspect in the slaying of three college students in Newark was found to be an illegal immigrant who had been arrested previously on aggravated assault and child sexual assault charges.

Wow, more than one in ten illegals have criminal histories? And we welcome them here with open arms? Why don't we just release our own criminals and give them the jobs these guys have now?

Federal immigration authorities can increase their success rate 10,000% in only one visit on any given day by visiting 69th street off Roosevelt Ave. If they worked each day in a month - think of the possibilities! It's like shooting fish in a barrel. Each undocumented soul has broken the law - deportation will slow this river of despair coming to our shores. Don't pay for their ticket home, deposit them at the doorstep of the Mexican consulate on 39th street. Go after them whom are lined up outside of the consulate who aids them being here. Now for a non-discrimatory politically correct approach go after the zillions of Chinese, Irish, Russian too in the same way.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.......now, now......
Don't you know it's "impolite"
and politically incorrect
to refer to human beings as illegals (ha, ha, ha)....
lest some well healed politician who lives far away
from the problems they're creating
will take you to task on your "racist" stance !

H-m-m-m......yeah !

2,019 arrests? INSUFFICIENT!

Enough to get news coverage. Way, way, way too low for the reality of the large number of illegal aliens in NJ alone.

What about NYC? Why no arrests? Is that because the Commissar has this a sanctuary city?

2,000 in NJ? I hope they're not bragging about this. This isn't even a good start. Talk to me when you hit 200,000.

"Illegal", "One in ten have criminal histories". Does anybody see, hear or care?
