Luxury LIC

In LIC, they call this "luxury".

18-10 27th Avenue, Long Island City

In the rest of Queens, it's called "crap".

It's called marketing crap. The C is for Corcoran. A few key words in ads and people eat it up. Suckers all they eat it up, we all know better - "Come join us in the edgyest part of Queens amongst our sophisticated and savy, illegal populations pouring out nearby Fresh Direct lockers . A taste of the world begging outside your very own Porte Cohere entrance way. Your very own subway cars lined up at 23rd & Ely station SIVCorp waiting to whisk you one stop to Manhattan - Attractive pre-completion prices start 1.6M for a closet and up .................

Oh....I though it was a new house of detention
and they hadn't installed the window bars yet !

For 1.6 million....I'd be expecting
a whole lot more "luxury" than that !

Sociologically speaking, just WHO are the assholes that buy this you-know-what?

they should really know better than to build buildings like this.

A terrorist might easily drive a rigged auto into that tunnel on the side and blow the crap pile sky high, which would be no great loss, except for the occupants inside.

Granted there'd only be hipsters at stake. Still, no one wishes them any outright bodily harm.

Hmmm, on second thought...

Long Island City was created in 1870 from the communities of Astoria, Hunters Point, Blissville, Ravenswood, Dutch Kills, Bowery Bay, Steinway, and Sunnyside. Did you just move to the area?
