2 QB restaurants found violating zoning regs

The City Department of Buildings has issued several violations to two Forest Hills Kosher restaurants for doing a bit more than their permits allow. King David and Da Mikelle II, both located on Queens Boulevard, are restaurants by day and party halls by night. The area is only zoned for restaurants.

Qns. Blvd. Eateries Hit With Violations

Although both restaurants are infringing on allowed zoning and receiving multiple complaints from neighbors, the violations issued by DOB differ considerably.

According to DOB spokeswoman Caroline Sullivan, six violations have been issued to the King David Restaurant since July 2006.

The laws regulating parties in restaurants date back to the Prohibition Era. King David and Troyka are both on Queens Boulevard, and Fortuna is on 108th street.

All three are in shopping districts, not residential areas. These restaurants provide a vital service. Instead of shlepping out to Westbury, Fox Hollow, or Crest Hollow, local couples on tight budgets can get married here.

That's a load of crap. The districts are NOT ZONED for this, and that's not all that goes on in these places. You try living next to these drunken thugs who shout all night, steal parking and have knife fights. It's not nice little local couples. IT'S FARKING ILLEGAL. IF YOU WANT TO DO ILLEGAL SH8T, GO BACK TO UZBEKISTAN.

Maybe Homeland Security
ought to look into these places !

Could there be money laundering also going on here.....
maybe being diverted to terrorist cells ?
