Let's play a game...part 2

One of these things doesn't belong here.
The rest of these things look kind of the same.
Can you guess which one just doesn't belong here?
Guess before my song is done...
And now my song is done.

This house is on 63rd Drive and 102nd Street, and sticks out like a file cabinet. Note the ugly iron-cross fence bricks. I hate those things. - mazeartist

I love the Sesame Street reference song. On Sesame Street, Queens these days, a lot has changed. Big bird got evicted via eminent domain from his little alleyway home and a brand new, Queens style "Fedders" dwelling was wedged into the space. Did I mention that this was an alleyway so, there is no room for the parking to accommodate the new building. Instead, they also evicted Oscar the Grouch from the front of the building's garbage pile so that the tenant's cars can be parked up on the sidewalk.
Mr Hooper's store was converted into a Home Depot.

It looks like somebody "erected" a bigger out of place building or a bigger something else !

Correction.....that reference was meant to describe the builder !

We used to tear down slums !

Now, it appears, we're building them !

It's hard to tell from the picture, so am I right that the surrounding stuff is 1960s-vintage brick attached houses, with concrete driveways, curb cuts and garages? If so, that's crap too.

I'd rather see crap replaced with something good, but I won't cry if it gets replaced with other crap.

No, these houses were built in 1940 with a community driveway in the back. There is no parking in the front.
