Queens still leads city in foreclosures

New foreclosures in Queens shot up to 254 in August, up from 178 in July. Of the 15 NYC zip codes with the most new foreclosures, 14 of them are in Queens. The borough's contribution brought New York City's total count in August to 383, up from July's 338 and 53.2% higher than the number in August 2007.

Once again, the leadership in this boro, from the boro president down have shown they are bumbling and incompetent.

They have no interest in running things, just tweeding so they can make money.

They don't even bother to hide this anymore.

No one really cares what happens to Queens - something abetted by the extraordinary degree of passiveness found in the body politic of this boro.

There you go again - trying to make this look like it's the Sen.'s fault that people get greedy and bite off more than they can chew. Lay the blame for the foreclosure crisis on the doortep's of the following: HUD Secry Cuomo, Prs. Bill clinton and even "W" for making homeownership a right and not a privlege.
