Birds of a feather...part 7

It's Friday. We only have to listen to election B.S. for a few more days. This photo features a former president and the guy who's supposedly banging his wife's "girlfriend". Go ahead, caption this photo.

A schmuck and a Wiener, both on the same stage! Quite the sword fight!

Actually, considering the two jokers we have to choose from this coming Tuesday, I kinda miss the "Bubba years". They weren't so bad, looking back now.

The Clinton years WERE wonderful. I don't understand all the animosity towards the man.

"Give it up Anthony, I tried hitting on Huma and got nowhere. I think she's a lesbo."

"No, gay she ain't. Nope, me and her are a COUPLE! A COUPLE! A COUPLE! You are just not her type!!!!"

"That could be true. She's taken to Hillary though. That's why I thought she -"

"WE'RE DATING!!! WHY DOESN'T ANYONE BELIEVE ME!!!!"

"Because you are a pencil-neck geek who looks like Screech. For example, who thought that sign was a good idea?"

"WE'RE A COUPLE!!!!!"

Weiner and Audience: sound of vomiting.

You're probably one of those people going around thinking the current administration has kept us "safe" from terrorist attacks.

Pu-leeze.

What's wrong with Weiner? Is Crappy having a slow news day?

Is this coming from the same "Men are all cheating pigs" Italian Girl that we all know?

Yes, the Clinton years were wonderful, and Mussolini made the trains run on time!

In all fairness, one of Clinton's biggest accomplishments was welfare reform. That was easier for the angry lefties to swallow during the presidency of a moderate Democrat. Even a moderate Republican such as McCain would never be able to reform welfare without the lefties crying "Marie Antoinette!"

Clinton was a big disappointment. Sleeze. The Hot Spings type.

Set the Democrats back a generation. Brought Hillary into the spotlight.

What a wasted opportunity.

Of course if the indited crooked set are your heros he is ok.

I guess it takes all kinds....

Huh?

"Yes, the Clinton years were wonderful, and Mussolini made the trains run on time!"

I suppose you must be one of the 20% that approve of Bush.

I am so hoping for a democratic win. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

So am I. 4 years of Jimmy Carter II is just what the GOP needs to get back on its feet.

Huh?

I could have sworn you typed something along the lines of "men are pigs" a while back. (Maybe it was "Men are disgusting"?) I remember you ripped Ridgewoodian a new A-hole when he was trying to defend polygamy. Perhaps my memory is incorrect.

I suppose you must be one of the 20% that approve of Bush.

Bush is giving Jimmah Carter a good run for the title of "worst president ever", they're probably both neck-and-neck. If anyone, Carter deserves more blame for being the "root cause" of the whole terrorism situation. Carter should have taken care of Iran when the hostages were taken. Instead, he bungled it with an ill planned desert raid that failed miserably. He probably emboldened the rest of the bunch (Osama) by letting them think the U.S. is a paper tiger. My 2 cents.

But what do I know? I'm sure the great polymath, multilingual, and erudite scholar Salvatore! is hiding underneath a manhole cover, waiting to come out and display his brilliance with his Marxist revisionist version of history!

Bush, Bush, BUSH!!!! Bush is the worst president, ever!
Carter's missteps? I'll take your word for it.

Bush is the worst? Hardly. I vote for Hoover on that one.

Which one of these two does that HUGE banner refer to? Does Wiener have a complex about his name?

Besides being politicians, these guys have a lot in common. They were both in relationships with lesbians.

Anthony: "I plan to have a news conference every Sunday for the rest of my career, just like Chuck Schumer, since it's a slow news day and I'm guaranteed to get news coverage."

The reason Clinton was a scumbag is he sicked the Reno Justice Department after Gates and Microsoft. (The current NYC School Chancellor Joel Klein was head of the "Anti-trust" Division.)

Everyone uses Microsoft. That was like cutting your own legs off. Microsoft appealed the most onerous part of the ruling and was granted relief on Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, four days before 9/11. (Front page lead story of the NY Times - check it out.) That Bush Justice Department appelate defense never got to percolate into the economy because of the terrorist attacks.

Bill Clinton was, is, and will probably be forever an economic moron.

Michael Bloomberg, Mr. NYC Financial Genius, awards Klein with the chancellorship of the school system.

No during these last 8 years and after 911 James Baker from the Carlisle group and the bush senoir alumni defended the Saudi royal familt against families from 911 victims.Bush also flew a couple hundred Saudis from the bin laden family etc out of the U.S. during no fly times 2 days afterwards.

Id like to kindly point out that Iran is backwards except for a % of college age people.Dont forget though that in 1953 the CIA installed a nice little puppet dictator in Iran to control the newly nationalized oil supply and it formented religious radicalism.
The In 1953 the CIA and MI6 carried out Operation Ajax (officially TP-AJAX), a covert operation by the United Kingdom and the United States to remove the democratically elected nationalist cabinet of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh from power, to support the Pahlavi dynasty and consolidate the power of Mohammed Reza Pahlavi in order to preserve the Western control of Iran's hugely lucrative oil infrastructure.
So no, Carter wasnt resposible for radicalizing factions of Iran.
“If there had not been a military coup, there would not have been 25 years of the Shah’s brutal regime, there would not have been a revolution in 1979 and a government of clerics,” Ibrahim Yazdi, a former foreign minister and leading member of a political party that traces its origins to Mossadegh’s National Front, told the Christian Science Monitor on the 50th anniversary of the coup and installation of the Shah. “Now it seems that the Americans are pushing towards the same direction again. That shows they have not learned anything from history.”

Hey Italian Girl, I usually agree with you, but do you seriously think the reason we haven't been attacked again is luck? Really?

Clinton - "Y'know, I think that chick over there is interested in my Presidential Seal. Anthony, can you lend me a cigar?"

Weiner - "I'd give anything to watch Hill and Huma go at it all night long."

Clinton - "Heck, I've seen it, and I felt like I had Mount Rushmore in my pocket."

Weiner - "I wish you were still President. You set such a fine example for the rest of us."

Yes, that's exactly what I think. Bush promised to "go after those that did this to us". And instead went after Saddam Hussein. So you don't think Bin Laden is plotting his next move?

Am I missing something here?

We invaded Afghanistan looking for Bin Laden and are still there.

Hindsight always confirms what we believed to be truth. One interesting point of history is that there is always more than enough room for the “Worst” designation. Sit back and enjoy the ride folks. There is more history to be made.

You know cj, I predicted Bush would be a fiasco for this country. I distinctly remember in 2000 talking with friends right before the election and saying Bush was going to ruin this country and go down as one of the worst presidents in history. And they would all look at me like I belonged on the Moon.

Don't ask me how I knew. I just knew.

Don't ask me how I knew. I just knew.

And you also predicted: the sub prime lending problem, the government banking and insurance bailout, the subsequent decline in stock markets around the world, problems with credit default swaps, the unprobable rise of Obama, and you also predicted the DJIA would close at 9325.01 on 10/31/08!

What does your "crystal ball" say about the next 4 years?

Anonymous said...

Oh wade, no need to be so snotty.

And no I am not a witch like your "crystal ball" comment implies.

But here's what I predict for Queens. I copied it from one of my previous posts.

This is what I see happening in Queens:

1) The prices of the homes WILL come down.
2) There will less and less foreign money because foreign markets are suffering just like we are.
3) There won't be the need for too many illegals doing dirty work when Americans have little money to spend.
4) Wall Street will continue to lay off people increasing the supply of housing(especially luxury homes) and with lower demand, there will be a big problem.
5) Foreclosures will continue to rise.
6) Developers will be scared sh*# to buy an investment property.
7) Bloomberg will one day crown himself emperor of NYC.

Oh and the next 4 years will be great if Obama is our next president. Really.

:)
