Another wrongful conviction from Brown

In one of the largest wrongful-conviction payouts in state history, New York City has agreed to pay $3.5 million to a Queens man imprisoned for 12 years after being found guilty of attempted murder.

City to Pay $3.5 Million to Wrongfully Imprisoned Queens Man

The man, Shih-Wei Su, was convicted by a jury in 1992 after Queens prosecutors knowingly presented false testimony from the star witness, according to a ruling in 2003 by the United States Court of Appeals, which overturned Mr. Su’s conviction and condemned the Queens district attorney’s office.

But even after the settlement was finalized in federal court on Thursday, Mr. Su said he was still angry.

“The settlement doesn’t buy back the time I lost and doesn’t do real justice, but the amount shows the public something is very wrong here,” said Mr. Su, now 35 and a financial consultant in Manhattan. “I did 12 years on a wrongful conviction, and no one was punished for it.”

Richard Brown has been given a license to fuck up for years because no one runs against him.

in just the last couple of months we have learned of 2 innocent men who were sent up the river for more than a decade. this man should be investigated.

We all know that there are many violent criminals. When they are put into prison, prisons become dangerous.

To reduce that prison violence, Brown sends innocent (therefore, non-violent) people TO prison, but, RELEASES back to the streets the clearly VIOLENT sexual predators and degenerates like Gallagher.

This balances the prison violence.

Further, released deranged predators like Gallagher can work among the voters to help Browns re-election efforts.

We have all the power needed to end Browns predatory prosecutions.

I hope that Brown and the cops who abetted him can live with themselves. Don't they know that it would be better to take the time and catch the real criminals and let the citizens know that these crooks are still out there, than to sweep it under the good housekeeping rug. Imagine if 12 years of one of these people, their neighbors, law-school classmates or fellow parishoners ended up in stir for a dozen years?

They should let this poor get his settlement as well as the chance to physically kick these peoples asses! Especially Brown!

To me that would be justice to pop Brown in his snot locker!!!

So Crapper is a coward yet again, removing my comment that this site is attacking Brown because he wouldn't kowtow to the loudmouths at the Juniper Park Civic with the Gallagher prosecution. How sad.

Only a moron would believe that we are reading a deleted comment.

Only a moron would believe that Brown ever prosecuted the demented, vodka sodden, degenerate,
elf sized, pervert Gallagher.

The defective little dwarf Gallagher CONFESSED to a LESSER CHARGE and CREPT out of court, AVOIDING prosecution. Brown made that possible. He made a deal with what ever politician wanted this genetic birth defect kept out of court!

Worst part is that he allows the police to write bogus tickets and treat and arrest people who do not bow down to them
