Triangle house gets Meineke makeover

Before: wooden shutters, earthtones, nice row of bushes.
After: Meineke yellow & black, with cream colored siding. No shutters or bushes.

Eliot Avenue's quirkiest house has gone corporate and will never be the same again. :::sniff:::

What poor taste! Thanks for turning this unique house into an eyesore!

Man, if Earl Scheib was responsible for such handiwork, I'd be demanding my $29.99 back.

Did you not see what it looked like before? Granted it looks bad now with that paint job, but the shingles were peeling and it looked like the eve of the roof was rotting, instead of tearing it down, they put up siding and painted. I feel if they tore this down, you would also be complaining, so be thankful its still there.

What would you have preferred?

They should have used white siding.

wonder what the inside looks like. Is there a staircase leading to the 2nd floor or just a ladder of sorts? Probably not much more room up there for more than just a chair. Snug little joint though. Shame they made a mess of it.

it could house 20 dozen illegal
